Due to a huge snowstorm in our area this past weekend we did not get our Sunday paper delivered and it wasn’t delivered to local stores. If there is anyone out there who has an extra and would be willing to mail it to us, we would greatly appreciate it. Please email me at bigdave1178@yahoo.com
Thanks

With regards to the Venus razor deal…..what about using the $2 off Venus embrace, then using the BOGO coupon from the same insert for free Olay body wash? Works out to $4.98 OOP for 2 razors + 2 body washes

Has anyone ever tried this at Target. I’m headed out today….will post an update

I tried this morning but they told me I could not use the $2 off and the body wash q together. How is it not using 2 manf q on 1 item(the razors)? Do you think they would give an adjustment if I took in my receipt and q?

I bought 4 Venuses, 4 of the Gillettes & 4 body-washes. I got 5 $5 gift cards. After those and coupons (4x $2/1 4x$4/1 & 4xFree Body wash w/ razor.) final cost was $7 plus tax. The body wash triggers a $5 GC when you buy 3.

The oatmeal deal did NOT work for me. I did not get the $5 Target gift card, and they reluctently used the Quaker instamt oatmeal coupons.

I had enough computers at my house to print 17 coupons for the oatmeal (one printed bad, else I would have had 18 :/) But using gift cards to pay for them and doing several transactions I was able to come out ahead majorly, and also get Veet. My store had the Veet on clearance for 4.37 each. (normally over $8 for one!) The first time I used a $2/1 and paid 2.37 + tax for one. I went home (live 2 blocks from a store) and went to the Veet website, and they now have $3/1 coupon! I printed 3 and took them back and got 3 more Veet, and paid 5.03 I think it was with tax, used gift card and paid the difference so paid very little. Awesome deals at Target, I love their clearances ^__^

So in total, I paid a little over $3, and got 20 oatmeals and 4 Veet (REG $8+ ea) and gained $12 in gift cards :) Thanks for posting great finds like this!!!

Thanks! I have been doing quite well thanks to your site. I appreciate the feedback and support with my terrible Walgreens encounters, and the tip of just calling the Catalina company instead of dealing with the employees worked perfectly. (When RR’s dont print)

can someone who did the quaker deal tell me if either of the coupons beeped at check out. Thanks.

The coupons do not beep at the checkout. Used 17 of them (in 4 transactions) and never had one beep. Good luck on your trip to the store :)

I had the easy express cups ring up at .97 here in Tampa and the shelf was emptying fast, but they did not trigger the GC so I returned them all. Didn’t get a chance to see if the coupons beeped or not.

FYI for everyone: The ONLY Quaker express oatmeal that is giving the gift card is the Golden Brown Sugar. It was the only one in my store with the tag that says it gives the $5 gift card.

ACTUALLY, I tried that at 2 of the Targets near me and they would not trigger a GC. I had to buy 4 of the cups plus one box of the oatmeal for it to work. It was fine with me, still a good price for a lot of oatmeal! :)

Hi Sonya,

I get it! Now I know why it didn’t work for you, since the cups in your store were only 97 cents each, the value of the items you purchased was less than the value of the gift card offer ($5). Target changed that a while ago. The bundle of items in the gift card offer needs to be higher than the value of the gift card being offered. This is before coupons of course. For Carmila, her total was $5.10 and that’s why it worked for her.

Mercedes,

Yes, that now makes sense as at one Target the cups were 98 cents and at the other they were 99 cents a piece. Still, all in all a good price for the oatmeal! Thanks for letting us in on all the good deals! :)

Can anyone tell me whether you can do a rain check on the Quaker deal? The cups were all gone when I went to my Target store this morning.

Hi kristen,

Unfortunately there’s no raincheck on gift card deals at Target :-(

The Target I went to also had Hefty One Zip gallon size bags on “price cut” for $1, down from $1.99. I had a $1 off 2 coupon so I got two boxes for $1!

The store I went to only had 1 of the Maple so I asked if they would substitute the cinnamon flavor cups for the $5 gc…they just took $5 off my order since they can’t make it trigger a giftcard without the product. I gladly paid the $0.20 for 10 cups!
