Target and Walmart: Pictureka and Monopoly Travel Game Deals

by Mercedes on February 1, 2010

Coupons.com just uploaded a TON of Toy coupons.  Two of the coupons that are now available are for $5 off one Pictureka game and $4 off one Monopoly Game.  Both Target and Walmart carry the travel size version of these games.  Here’s the deal you can score:

Pictureka Travel Game $5.99-$6.64
Use $5/1 Pictureka Game printable coupon
Pay $0.99-$1.64 after coupon

Monopoly Travel Game $5.99
Use $4/1 Monopoly Game Travel coupon
Pay $1.99 after coupon

At both stores you can find these games hanging on a rack by the toy section.  ‘ll be picking some of these up for my nephews and nieces.  These games look great for long car rides.

FYI – I tried to use coupons like this at Target around Christmas time and the cashier wouldn’t let me. She said they were on the full size games only. I asked her to remove the card game I bought and paid for the purchase before finding out she forgot to remove the card game. She ended up giving me the cash for the coupon because it was easier than returning the price of the game. Overall, kinda a pain, but I ended up getting the card game for a great deal in the end :)

There was also a coupon for Scrabble. I’m hoping that it will work on the new Scrabble Slam card game. It’s a fun fast game that one of my boys got for Christmas. So fun that my 18yo college student wants one now too. :-)

I snagged the pictureka from wal-mart at christmas time and I used the Mr potato head coupons at dollar general. They had some little mini type potato heads for $2.50 back then. Will have to check to see if they still have them. Hope to score on the scrabble too.

I tried this at Target tonight. I picked up scrabble slam, monopoly deal and the pictureka card game without any trouble. The coupons didn’t beep! There was also a sorry game (Sorry revenge) but the register didn’t take the coupon on that one. I think I might try and see if they have a travel size of the sorry because the cashier said it was because the game was called sorry revenge and not just sorry. Still an awesome deal!
