Even though at the beginning of January I felt that I did not want to hear about a toy deal for a while, I want to share the new toy deals available with you. The top reason is that shopping in advance and shopping the best bargains throughout the year is the best way to save money in this type of expenses. This is what I plan to do: get the best bargain finds available throughout the year not only for gifts for friends and family BUT also to be able to stretch my Toys for Tots donation to the max.

My walmart will not let me use those coupons for the card games
Because the coupon is for the actual game itself not the card game.
Hi Holly,
The coupons read “off any game” not any “board game” So, you should be able to use them.

Coupons.com is not letting me print these. After I click print, the page just refreshes. I have never had this problem before, is it happening to anyone else?
Sonya, its kinda doing that for me. Its letting me print some coupons, but others (like the EverPure coupon) it won’t print and just keeps refreshing it. Ugh!
I ended up closing out the window and reopening it and it finally worked! Wierd.
I went to Wal Mart today and tried to use these for the card games and their register would not take them so therefore they would not use them at all.
This is directly from Hasoro:
GET $5 OFF A HASBRO GAME NIGHT GAME
Gear up for Big Game Night! Get your party started with $5 OFF one of the following Hasbro Game Night games: THE GAME OF THINGS…, PICTIONARY, TABOO, SCATTERGORIES and ELECTRONIC CATCH PHRASE. Use coupon now through February 21, 2010. > Click the image above to get $5 off coupon
This coupon states what games this coupon is for…so I don’t know where ya’ll are getting your information that it can be used for the card games but you’re incorrect.
That is only one coupon. There are additional coupons that for scrabble, monopoly, etc that say any scrabble game…that is why its a big deal. It does not say board game, card game, or have a price limit. So you can buy the Pictureka card game for 5.24 and use the $5 off coupon.
My Target had these card games for $6.04 each. I swear sometimes stores bump up the prices when there are good coupons out…
I got my $4 discount on Monopoly and Scrabble. Worked great at Target (in Orlando).
Thanks
I found the Scrabble slam card game at walmart marked down to $3 this week, and was able to use the $4 off 1 scrabble game coupon, so I walked away with a free game, and $1 in coverage.
Last night I used the coupons to buy Scrabble Slam, Pictureka, and Monopoly card games at Wal-Mart. I tried to use the Sorry coupon to buy the Sorry Revenge card game, but it wouldn’t work. Overall I am very happy. My end prices were $0.24-$1.24. I think I’ll print some more coupons and go back for more. They will make great party favors for my children’s birthday party in a few weeks.
Bought the same four, but the sorry game coupon wouldn’t work – the manager wouldn’t bypass the system: he was positive a coupon for $4 wouldn’t apply to a game only priced at $5.24. I will try again with a different manager….
I was able to get the Pictureka, Slam and Deal cardvgames at Target in Iowa today with no problems or beeps. Interestingly, the one that beeped was for the Sorry and I was actually trying to use it on the board game! Goodness. Thankfully they pushed it through.
I went to Target today and got the scrabble, pictureka, and monopoly card games with those those coupons, along w/ the bogo ponies and so it brought my total down half the amount. If i didn’t have to get some stuff for a basket i was making it probably would have been over the amount i paid
According to “corporate”, Walmart does not take Buy One Get One Free coupons. Very lame, the coupon for the My Little Pony Singles wasn’t taken by the Walmart in Spokane Valley. BUT, Target takes them and it was a great deal! I pick Target to Walmart any day.
Went to Target to do this deal with my sister. All the card games were on sale for $5.99. When we went to check out I went first and everything worked fine, but then as my sister was checking out the cashier said she couldn’t take the coupons, when we told her there was no specs on the coupon she asked a manager and she said it was for the board games only. The cashier then told me I had to return my purchase. Need-less to say I always have problems at target and hate shopping there. We tried these at Meijers and the prices are cheaper but the register rejected the coupon. Good luck!!
Do any of these coupons beep when using them on the card games? If they beep most the stores in my area will not except them. Thanks.
Worked for me at Target-! This was a great deal- got some great card games for birthdays, care packages for soldiers, etc. We got Monopoly, Scrabble Slam and Pictureka! No beeps for us- Thanks!!!
went to walmart today (conroe, tx) got the monopoly board game ($10), the monopoly deal card game ($5.24), and the pictureka card game ($5.24) and used 3 coupons…$5 off, and 2 $4 off…it did beep on the 2nd $4 one, but the cashier overrode it.
thanks for the deal, we love to play games! =)
Tried these at Walmart today, Lake Geneva, WI, the cashier scanned the first one and it went through fine, but then wanted to check with a higher up. After 3 people including the floor manager, I was told I could only use them on the board games because that was what the picture was. I pulled out a Huggies coupon with a similar wording, $2 off of one huggies diaper, with the picture being for the red package although you can buy ANY huggies diapers with it. She continued to talk about coupon fraud with me, at this point she was just trying to talk like she knew what was up, although she did not. I was ticked, but will take the coupons to Target and try them there.
Coupon.com doesn’t show this coupon. This has happened to me time and time again. I see a coupon advertised, click on it, it takes me to coupon.com and then there is no such coupon there. Am I missing something??
