My Target also had the Scrabble Apple game on clearance for $2.82, and I used the $4 off coupon! Got these deals already, must print more today for Christmas gifts (or at least birthday presents)!

My Wal-mart and Target carry a carabiner style of Catchphrase for $9.98 (located in the hand held game area) I’ve used the Catchphrase $5.00 off coupon and got it for $4.98! I tried it once at Wal-mart and once at Target. It worked both times.

I tried to get the card games at my local Target. They wouldn’t honor the coupons. I don’t know if anyone else has had this issue or not.

my girlfriend julie tried buying the card games at walmart and they would not honor the coupons either. they claim that what the picture is on the coupon is what you have to buy. Well they had to put all those card games back…..haha

The coupons state “good only for item indicated” so I unfortunately was denied on the Scrabble Slam at Target today….

Surprised that people had problems with this….my Target took all of the coupons (OK, one beep for one of the Monopoly card games, but the first one went through OK, I pointed that out to the cashier, and he pushed it through). And Tan, the coupons only say $5 a Monopoly game or $4 off a Scrabble game….NO WHERE does it say it must be the board game!

I got denied at Target today too. They said that it had to be a board game, even though I argued with them that it does not say so on the coupon.

I also got denied today- at Wal-Mart. I only tried one, too- the Monopoly one. The cashier didn’t even try it- she just told me it wasn’t for the card game even though the coupon itself is very vague.

I made out at Super Target tonight. I scored 2 Scrabble Slam games for $1.24 each, 1 Monopoly card game for $1.24, and the board game Monopoly Town, for which I was “paid” $2.02. I found Monopoly Town (a preschool game) mixed in with other games and with no shelf tag. The scanner said “item not found,” so I took it to customer service and was told it was $1.98. She rang up my order & the 2nd Monopoly coupon beeped. I reminded her I bought the card game and the board game & that she might need to modify the coupon to $1.98. She just pushed it through & gave me the $4 off. She did that with some “free” coupons I had, too, such as the Golden Double Stuff Oreos (Facebook promo a couple weeks ago), which was $2.99 but she gave me the full $4.19 value of the coupon and Pace salsa, which was $2.35 but she gave me the full $4 off.
A funny thing I found, too, was another display of Monopoly, Scrabble, and Pictureka card games that include $5 off Hasbro coupons…but these card games cost $5.99. I just bought the $5.24 ones & used my $4 off coupons. I didn’t open the $5.99 ones to see if they included coupons that could be used on those particular card games. That would make them only $0.99. Just thought I’d let everyone know in case they want to check those out.

I was thinking of printing the coupons until I noticed the picture of the item on the coupons. The pictures look like the actual board games which is probably why the coupon has such a high value .I’m thinking the manufacterer is intending these coupons to be used for the board games which are much more expensive than the card games. I’m not going to attempt to buy these. I could try it, but something inside me is just nagging that this is wrong. I love to get deals, but not ones that seem a little dishonest.

Today’s newspaper insert, USA weekend, has coupons on page 3 for the Monopoly and the Pictureka games.

Had no problem redeeming these coupons at either Kmart or Walmart.

I’m so exited that they issued some new toy coupons again. My little girls luv my little ponnies and I was unable to print all the coupons last week, b/c I was low on ink so after I changed my ink it said that the print limit was already reached. I guess I had previously hit print but it never printed :(

I’m not seeing the $4 of Scrabble coupon, at that link (coupons.come) there is only 1 toy coupon which is for Leap Frog. Today is Wed. Feb. 24th.
