I live in GB and get the GB Press Gazzett for local deals and lame coupons and the Chicago Trib. for good coupons. You can get them at Festival or Shell gas stations almost all day on Sunday!

A friend called and told me that they had adjusted their computers so for the cereal deal, your total needs to be $35, then the $10 comes off, then your coupons will double. This hasn’t been my experience in the past, but maybe they changed all computers? Wondering if anyone has done the cereal deal today, and what their experience was. I can’t go until after dinner. Thanks!

Rachel, yes I buy the Trib at Festival and Shell, it’s usually $3. Occasionally they charge me $2.50. I know it’s a lot for a paper, but usually I need those higher value coupons that week. Otherwise you can order entire coupon inserts from “coupons and things by dede”. Hopefully that helps!

The cereal deal worked as normal for me. I did 4 transactions (only one with cereal) for a total of $40 and a savings of 70% (almost $100). I posted it here:
