Special Double Daze event! Doubles 10 not five manufacturer coupons this coming Wednesday 3/3 at Pick N Save. Special thanks to Rose from Rose Knows Coupons for her help with this week’s coupon match ups. Here are the best deals at PNS/Copps/Rainbow Foods this week. Remember that coupons are doubled when your order is more than $25 after store discounts and promotions and when you use your card. You also have the option to split your order to get more than five coupons to double. I regularly do two transactions at least. I list most of the totals after doubled coupons so you can get an idea of what could be cheap or not. The final decision of what to double is yours. Please make sure to compare this list to your local ad. Northern and Southern Wisconsin carry different ads.
If your ad looks different check out my coupon matches for last week here.

Hi! I am Mercedes and this is my blog Common Sense with Money! Helping other people live better, spend less, and save more is something I am very passionate about. I combine simple frugal living tips and smart shopping techniques to help moms across the U.S. become better home economists. Thank you for visiting my blog.

I’m making my maiden double-couponing voyage to Rainbow on Wednesday. I’m scared! I’ve been wanting to try it but haven’t taken the time to learn another store. It seems relatively easy though. I’m excited about the coffee creamer. We go thru that stuff like water and I thought 99 cents was a good price!! I have 5 coupons to make it free so I’m excited!!
Is the meal-deal a good deal this week? Buy ham cuts for $1.99/lb (not sure what smallest size would be?), get 3# turkey breast (frozen), sausage and eggs free. Could I use the B1G1F eggs coupon with that?
If there’s anything extra special about Rainbow that I should know, please share!
I have been told that when an item is BOGO that you can only use one coupon. I even went to the customer service desk at Rainbow in Shoreview, MN and was told rather harshly that all the couponing websites that say you can use 2 are wrong. Is this quite common?
I believe each store has their own policy with BOGO. The logic I use with BOGO is that the store is running the BOGO promotion. If I use two manufacturer coupons that store is still getting reimbursed for both products from the manufacturer. It actaully benefits the store in a situation like this because it is their BOGO promotion yet still get paid for the coupon by the manufacturer.
Thank you so much Mercedes for linking me in this post! My site is very new and we still have a few kinks to work out! Hopefully we will be running smoothly in the next few days!
I looked at the ham in the “meal deal” yesterday. The 2 smallest ones I found were $12 and $13, and the rest were closer to $20. I was wondering if it is a good deal as well…
It says there are no more prints left for the Delmonte vegetables/fruit $1 on 4. I don’t know if this means the coupon is no longer available or not?
I read on another message board that they are doubling 10 coupons this week so maybe call ahead to plan your shopping trip or bring some extras!
So you can do this more than once if you have 2 separate $25 purchases? I have never done this before at Copps. And the $25 purchase is after store coupons but before manufacturer coupons?
You are right on both questions! You can do more than one transaction, but to double the most coupons, you’ll want each transaction to be $25.00, which is after you scan your Roundy’s card, but before you start using your manufacture coupons. This week is a little different though, because most Pick N Save stores are doubling 10 instead of 5 coupons. So, for every $25.00 order, you can double 10 coupons-very cool! Good luck and have fun! Hope this answers your questions!
My sister in law just mentioned that the Pick N Save in Neenah is no longer accepting online printed manufacturer coupons….some change to their policy? Has anyone else run into this? Thanks!
I go to the one in Kimblery which is not too far from Neenah. I’ve never had a problem using printables. Maybe the extra drive would be worth it?…up to you I guess. We use to go to the one in Appleton, but they were always out of stock on items and that is why we switched to the one in Kimberly.
I just called customer service of Pick n save directly and am having the store director call me back. But the lady I did talk to said it is up to the discretion of the store on whether to take ot not to take them. She did list some criteria as to which they are not supposed to take (just free product coupons, coupons are supposed to have your name on them-I think smart source has this, expired coupons). Even the lady I spoke with said that all employees and managers need to be on the same page as to what to accept and not accept. I hope they don’t stop taking them because you will have a lot of unhappy people!
Thanks for the info. Diana, I am interested to hear what you find out from the store director on the situation. It would be nice if each store would post a notice if they don’t take internet coupons. I have seen that at Piggly Wiggly where they won’t take internet coupons for more than $1.
Interestingly, my sister in law just went to the Pick N Save in Neenah yesterday, so that is why I wondered if it was a new thing. Also, she tried to use the Nabisco free cookies coupon. Maybe because the cookies were free caused the problem?
In regards to the Nabisco coupon I was just at the Neenah picknsave yesterday and had no problem using it. Even though it is “in their policy”. I hope they get this worked out soon because it gets tiring talking to a manager everytime I shop. Here is the E-mail I received back.
Hello my name is Lon Rundquist and I am the store director here at Copps Food Center #8124 in Neenah Wisconsin.
First, I would like to apologize for the confusion on our coupon policy. Our policy states we will accept interent manufactor coupons for discounts on items you may have purchased, one coupon per item. The only ones we will not accept are coupons for “free” items or BOGO items (buy one get one free).
I, along with my Service Operations Manager will be reviewing and re-training all cashiers on this policy so we are all performing this the same way. I hope you have a clearer understanding of our ploicy. Should you have any more questions please feel free to contact me on your next visit or call me anytime here at the store 751-8842.
Thank you for shopping with us and I hope we can continue to serve you .
I went to the one in Kimberly two weeks ago and they are no longer accepting internet coupons in excess of $1 (I had one for $2). Store policy is what I was told.
Thanks for finding out more from Pick n Save in Neenah. I emailed them but heard nothing back. It is frustrating because some honor it and others do not, making it difficult to use legitimate money saving coupons. Consistency in their policy would be nice. I guess I will go to Walmart instead.
I’ve always found that they don’t take internet printables greater than $1. I think it might be a PickNSave policy because it happened at the Appleton and Kimberly store.
The Lever 2000 IP coupons are for a 4 pack or larger and the ones advertised in the sale are 2 pack varieties.
Copps on Main street in Sun Prairie is doubling 10 coupons. A friend also confirmed the Copps on Junction Rd in Madison.
75 cent Crest coupons doubled even though the sale price on the tube was $1.
Had no problem with my P&G coupons marked with the Save-a-lot store logo.
My Incredible edible egg B1G1F printed coupon was also accepted for 99 cents. All of the madison area stores that I’ve shopped at only allow internet coupons up to $1. And no “free” product internet coupons.
These sales will be my sales next week. There was nothing in my ad about the 10 doubles, so I assumed that my 10 Double Daze would be next week. The northern stores sales are always one week before the southern stores sales. I got to the the check out, and the cashier that I usually check out with asked me if I knew that today was 10 double daze. I would’ve done more planning if I would have known. I wonder if they are going to stop advertising about it when they do it. It is usually always listed in the sales ad.
My Milwaukee area PS had signs posted @ check outs about the 10 Q’s being doubled on Wed. 3/3. I didn’t know before I got to the check outs either so I ran back & got 5 more items! It was for the grand re-openeing of stores which was that week.
The northern stores sales are always one week before the southern stores sales confuses me sometimes.
Great deals today! Can someone clarify on how the doubling works in this situation?
If the item is $1.09 on sale, and I have a coupon for $1.00. The store gives me $1.00 off and then another .09cents off.
If the items is $1.00 on sale, and I have a coupon for $1.00; would the store give me $1.00 off and then another $1.00 off?
Thank you!!
Where I shop the coupon will double up to the shelf price on the product. Therefore, even if it is on sale for a $1.00, and the original price is $2.09. The coupon will take the $1.00 off making it free, but then will also double to another $1.00 off making it a $1.00 money maker.
If the shelf price of the product is $1.59, and on sale for a $1.00 the coupon will take the $1.00 making it free, but will only double to a .59 money maker.
Help, I’m in So. WI and therefore our sales are based on last week’s ad. So when they allow for 10 coupons to double, is it specifically for that day (March 3rd) or is it tied to the sales ad (which in my case would be for the following week? Anyone know?
I am also in Southern Wisconsin. I was expecting our 10 DBL event to be the next week when I saw it on here too. However, when I got to the store last week they had the 10 DBL event last week. It was not advertised in the ad like it usually is.
I am in southeastern WI and i didn’t even hear about the 10 DBL…we have wed and sat dbl coupons tho..
woops!! wrong date!ha!
