Looking for things to do with your family without breaking the bank?  This weekend’s list of things to do for free comes to you courtesy of Who Said Nothing in Life is Free.  I hope you can find an event to take advantage of near you:

  • At Michael’s you can make a very cute Yarn doll from 10am to 1pm tomorrow 3/6.
  • Bank of America Cardholders can get into over 100 different museums, zoos, science centers and more for FREE the first weekend of every month.  Find a participating museum near you here.

Wow!  there’s something to do for everyone.  What are your plans?

If you are in the Kansas City area there is also a wonderful free annual event going on at the Moon Marble Company in Bonner Springs just off 435 on the West side of town. It runs Friday and Saturday and has lots of fun free things for kids to do as well as live demonstrations of making glass marbles by hand. I’ve lived here for nearly 20 years and my mother in Nebraska kept telling me I ought to check this place out. I was like yeah tour a marble factory “what fun” – sarcasm galore. Then I finally went and it was actually fun. It is more an oldfashion toy store with lots of hands on areas than it is a factory.

I had no idea about B of A! Finally a benefit to having one of their credit cards.

I have to say that even a free tan is NOT worth the risk of skin cancer. Hopefully it’s a spray tan!
