Kmart Super doubles starts in less than a week! Who is excited? and who is going meh! Anyways, I just realized that the end of the month is coming and you know what that means. I have driven a few times by the Kmart in my new town and it’s been hopping every time! That’s unusual to say the least! I was so used to the sleepy Kmart back home. Just wanted to give you a heads up that I was told by my mother who is a Kmart employee that you need to be a member of some Kmart Rewards program to be able to double coupons when doubles start. I don’t shop at Kmart so I am not really sure what the rewards program is. Just thought I would share the information that I was given which you may already know. I hope the move went well.

You can sign up for the Shop Your Way Rewards card at CS. I signed up for it at the register at Sears.
They had a big table set up at the front of my Kmart today with applications for the Shop your Way to Rewards cards, so you could fill them out before you got to the register. The program adds up, I did some of their double rewards stuff a while back (when diapers were double rewards) and now have $8.19 in rewards, hopefully to pay just tax during the doubles
It’s a free rewards card and can be used at all Kmart/Sears/Lands End stores or online to earn rewards.

I think I’m missing something. Does KMart double $2 coupons to $4? I thought they only doubled $1 coupons to $2.

You are right Misty. They will double coupons with a face value of up to $2, so a $2 coupon is actually $4 off!
You can sign up for the rewards card online (on the Kmart site, at least–maybe on Sears, too, I’m not sure). That’s what I did, and then you can print out a temporary card to use, and then the real card is supposed to come by mail. Mine has not come yet, but I have my temporary one. I never shop at Kmart, and I’m really wondering if this is going to go well. After that store coupon debacle, I’m not feeling at all confident that they’ll actually double the coupons. We’ll see.

Kmart sometimes does “Super Double Coupons” which means they double up to $2 coupons ($1=$2, $2=$4) but they are limiting us to 5 per person per day this time and like Mari mentioned you will need to sign up for their rewards card as well. HTH!

Starting April 4th. Ends April 10th.
Last year, my local Kmart did the double coupon days, but then it seemed that when it kept repeating seemingly every other week, my store stoped participating and it was only in certain areas. Is this upcoming event their annual one where all the stores participate? How can I tell if my store is involved this time? I really don’t want to spend the time planning out a trip if they’re just going to deny me. I’m still upset about the $10/$20 coupon from last week.
The last time Kmart did doubles, they did not allow internet coupons, check with your store!!!!
