  1. Victoria says:

Can anyone explain why the redplum insert I get is so “weak” now? I used to get a regular sized insert with all the coupons listed on all the various websites. Now they are just a few coupons and alot of ads for flowers and such? I bought 3 papers last Sun and all 3 have the “weak” one! SO FRUSTRATED!!!!!!

  2. Tina says:

This can be a better deal by replacing the sudafed with another visine (buy 2). You will pay nothing out of pocket and still get the $25 gift card.

  3. Jill Gardner says:

My Red Plum is the same as Victoria’s. It is so frustrating to see great deals like these and get excited to take advantage of it and then find that most of the coupons are not in my RP. Nevertheless, thanks for such an awesome scenario.

  4. Mercedes says:

    @Jill Gardner,

    Jill and Victoria,

My area also gets very poor coupon inserts. I don’t know why this happend, I mean I do. It’s a marketing decision but I don’t understand why it happens. Anyways, just wanted to suggest that you can use a coupon clipping service like The Coupon Clippers to get coupons you don’t get in your inserts.

  5. CC says:

I think in Transaction #2, you can’t use 2 Bandaid Qs, but you can use the in-ad $2 Visine Q (3/14 RP). Right????

  6. Raelynn says:

Can you use the in ad coupons with a manufacturer coupon for example can I do the second transaction and use the in ad coupon for the visine and the manufacturer coupon from 3/14 making the total 2.44 instead of 4.44?

  7. CC says:

@tina, Tina, when they scan the “in ad coupon” will it just double if you buy 2 Visines? I know that happens at Walgreens, but I didn’t know about Rite Aid.

    • Mercedes says:

      Hi CC,

Unfortunately the in store coupons don’t work like that at Rite Aid. You do need one coupon per item.

      Mercedes

      • CC says:

So, if that is the case, how did Tina do this “This can be a better deal by replacing the sudafed with another visine (buy 2). You will pay nothing out of pocket and still get the $25 gift card.”?

  8. Melissa says:

Does the scenario work if you don’t buy the visines at all…..would it still qualify for the J&J SCR? I don’t need visine, it’s not something we ever use, and I already threw away the flyer without clipping that one. Thanks.

  9. Melissa says:

Also, how do I submit for that J&J SCR? (Kinda new to rite aid stuff)

  10. I’ve got a different scenario that get you a $23 Money maker. It uses one $5/$20 video value coupon and 2 of the $3/$15 PDF coupons available. You can check it out at:
