Where do you find the $1/1 hershey bar? It just says (3/14/10)
My Walgreens absolutely will not:
- allow you to use $1 off coupon on a 99 cent item. They say they cannot take coupon down to .99 because it makes their numbers off since coupon is really $1 when they submit it.
- allow you to use 2 coupons when there is a buy one get one free sale…you cannot use a coupon for the free item. You also cannot use a B!G!F coupon if there is a B1G1F sale going on to get 2 free.
All othr stores seem to allow both of these things. Target, CVS, etc….and they also give money back if item is .99 and coupon is $1..yuo get the penny. Does anyone know if this is right at Wags? Please email me at tresswatts@aol.com if you could.
The Wags that I shop at will not adjust coupons down. Every Wags in my area will not do this. I just accept that as the policy in my area. Because it is so uniform it doesn’t bother me at all. I know that’s the rule for me, so I don’t even bother.
As far as being able to use two coupons on a bogo, you are definitely supposed to be allowed to do that.
You are also supposed to be able to combine a bogo sale with a bogo mc to get both items for free. A lot of stores will not allow it, but they are mis-informed. There is a lot of information regarding this subject under the 2/28-3/6 sales ad post, and under the march megasaver post on: iheartwags.com. Read the comments posted under those tabs. There is even a direct phone # for Wags corporate consumer relations department.
I think each Wags can create their own coupon policy. At the stores near me, some managers/cashiers will allow BOGO Qs with a BOGO sale, some will not. I tried contacting corporate to get their decision on whether it was allowed, and they had my local store manager call me, which was no help since that was my problem to begin with.

at walgreens there is an off brand childrens gummy vitamin megasaver B1G1 10.99 and there is 2 Dollars off in the childrens book that will take off 4 Dollars it is the 140 count bottle making it 2 for 6.99

i got two dark hershey bars (4.5 oz) & use the coupon on the March booklet but it didn’t come out as free. the bars were on sale for $1.49 ea & w/ the coupon, it took out .98 which ended up being $1 each. is this a glitch on their system?
You have to use the coupon (2) of the $1 off Hershey extra dark that was in the jan. ss to make it free

Teresa, as far as I know, wag stores differ. Technically the wags booklet qps are manufacturer qps therefore you can’t use another one but some cashiers seem puzzled or don’t have a clue on how to use them. I’ve used the booklet first then followed by $/$ qps and has worked fine. Try at another store or try to buy something else along with the transaction!
My Nestle coupon was buy 2 get one free. Would still be $0.98 for three after coupon. However, couldn’t you hand the BOGO (or B2G1) coupon before the Wags coupon? This would deduct the full price of the Nestle bar and give 2 or 3 bars free or better than free.
