I doubt my CVS cashier would let me use a $1 coupon on a Hershey bar costing 1 cent. That would give 99 cent overage. Does anyone else have other experiences with this?

Nesha,
i don’t think you’ll have an overage. the total cost of the two bars (1.99 + .01) equals $2 which is the same amount of the two $1 coupons you’ll be using.

Just FYI- last week I tried to use the CG BOGO face on lip products and they said- “no go”. Said lip products are diff than face (even used pic on coupon to “prove” since it was just foundation and blush)

I was allowed to used that coupon with no problem. I guess it just depends on the store or who checks you out.

They have limits on how many times you get the ECB per items. They keep track through your CVS card. So each one of your items probably only allowed you to get the ECB once.

Hi Kitchy,

Also look at the bottom of your reciept. It will give you a summary of your ECB deals on that reciept and will say “Offer limit reached” if you have reached the limit on that offer. It will also tell you if you need to spend more to earn a reward. For instance, if they are running a “Spend $20 get $5 ECBs” on a CVS skin care and you bought $12 of CVS skin care on that transaction, it will tell you that you need to spend $8 more $$ to get your ECBs.

About the Revlon offer 3 ECBs after spending 10.00 Make sure you spend 10.00 on Revlon COSMETICS. NOT Revlon accessories or tools. Ugh. I fell .02 short on getting my 3 ECBs today because of this. *Facepalm*

Also, my cashier was sweet and just swiped the two DiGiorno deep dish pizza coupons for my DiGiorno rising crust pizzas (B1 G1 for 1cent) ;-) YMMV!

When CVS prints a coupon that says something like $1 off CVS/Pharmacy Hair Care is that only good on CVS brand products? I tried to use one today with a $2 off 2 coupon for Aussie products and the cashier said it wouldn’t work because it said CVS on it and because I had already used a coupon. I don’t get it, can I not stack those 2 together? I had trouble today and ended up spending a few more dollars than I planned and was really bummed
