This afternoon I stole some minutes away from my kids to go shopping. I am really loving being able to shop at CVS. I particularly love that my local store turns on next weeks sales on Saturday. So by shopping on Saturday I am able to “double dip” in my transactions. Mostly it saves me a trip to CVS on a given week. This is what I did:
At CVS: I had already maxed out the Huggies deal, but I still needed diapers. So I went ahead and used the $3/1 Huggies diaper printable coupon to get one more pack of cheap diapers. In the end I paid $1.85 cents for one:
One pack of Huggies diapers $8.49
One pack of U by Kotex pads $4.99
One container of CVS cotton swabs $0.99
Two right guard deodorant $2.69 each
- $3/1 Huggies printable coupon
- $1/1 U by Kotex CVS coupon
- $1/1 U by Kotex manufacturer coupon
- one $3/2 Right guard coupon
- $1/1 CVS facial care product coupon
- 9 ECBS I had on hand
Paid $1.85 and got back another 9 ECBs
At Walgreens: I did this transaction twice. I was in a hurry:
One Schick Hydro Razor $7.99
One EOS shaving cream $2.99
-$5 Schick hydro coupon
-$5RR I had
Paid $0.98 and got back $8 in RRs
At Target:
One Gallon of Milk
One loaf of bread
6 Schick razors
- six $5/1 Schick razors coupons
- six $1/1 Schick razor target coupons
-$5 target gift card from the Bertolli deal last week
Paid around $13 and got back $15 in Target gift cards
I wish I could beautify my shops with a pic but like I said I stole time from my kids to go shopping but not enough to arrange everything and take a pic. How did you do this week? What did you end up with?

I hardly ever manage to get the razor deals at Target, even when I go very early in the week, they are all already gone. Oh well, diapers were what I needed, and I got a pack for less than two dollars at CVS. Woo-hoo!
I know what you mean about the razors… I found the last two earlier this week, and they’ve been completely out of stock ever since.
Cori,
the only reason I got lucky was because my area did not get the razor coupon, so all the razors were still on the shelves

Awesome! I had a great shopping trip at Target today, too, and met the best cashier ever.

Now I have 5 ECBs for my next purchase! and I saved in both trips TOTAL:$52.24.-
This is the first time that I try CVS, and I love it! The cashiers were so nice! and the store was clean and have everything that I need it! Thanks, Mercedes for yours tips and advances!
You know I love Walgreens but I am sure loving CVS too. I need to learn to love Rite Aid too.

My first ? is CVS…they are the easiest to deal with. I don’t have to worry about having more coupons than items like WAGS. Plus, our store has the best people working there. They’re always waiting and willing to help.
I got $35 worth of stuff for $1.39 plus made back $15 in ECBs.
Glad you enjoyed your shopping trip today! I try to make my CVS trips solo every week…even if I have to go @ midnight.
Mercedes & Andrea…
I try Wags. and Target but I didn’t have nice experience with them. The cashiers, the store, the policy about coupons and the hard time that They give to the costumer really is awful! I prefer Jewel Osco, They never gave me attitude and always help me with my coupons… but now I also love CVS!
Oh I’m so jealous that your CVS starts their deals on Saturday. Lucky!!
The CVS in my area has clearance in the cosmetic section. Items marked with bright pink and green stickers are 50% & 75% off respectively. Some of the Revlon lipgloss colors are marked for 75% off making them $1.99 each. With coupons from previous weeks $2/1 Revlon this makes them free!
I don’t have a child in diapers, but I do have a code for “30 FREE Gifts to Grow Points” from Pampers. How can I give this to someone who can use it?
