Is the $2 RR a regional thing for Walgreens? I don’t see it in the ad, and I tried it in the store and did not get any RR.

Its on page 5 of my ad too…Must not be happening in KC…No RR listed. Have you seen the new Walgreens rewards card? That is a new thing here in KC with Walgreens this week, kinda like a CVS card. With the scrubbing bubbles purchase, you get “500 Bonus points”. I’ve haven’t seen much about it on any blogs or online. Maybe they are doing a trial run in the KC area?

Yes, Kansas City is part of the test area where they are rolling this rewards card. I hear the deals are not as good.

For those in KC not getting the better deals head out of town a little bit. I live in Lawrence and we are not considered KC metro so we aren’t having the cards tested here. The $2 RR worked here.
For the test markets we get 500 bonus points with the purchase. It takes 2000 points to get a $5 walgreens gift certificate. So they are really only giving us $1.25 but the dove deal this week we get 2000 points instead of the 5RR and you can use that for $5 gift certificate. The first week they were really pushing the card but the last 2 times I went I forgot to even use my card and they didn’t even ask me for it. This is Richmond, VA area
