Revision 3 the television network for the internet generation is offering free Amazon Video on demand credits. here is how to get this freebie:
- Then use the codes they shared on this tweet to add $6 in VOD credits to your Amazon account.
- Go here to add these to your Amazon account (Click on redeem a Gift Card or Promotion Code).
These credits are towards the rental of Avatar movie which is a great movie by the way. Don’t forget about the $10 credit I shared with you earlier. Between all of these credits you have enough to buy this movie actually. Sorry guys! the $10 credit is only good towards certain TV shows.

Hi! I am Mercedes and this is my blog Common Sense with Money! Helping other people live better, spend less, and save more is something I am very passionate about. I combine simple frugal living tips and smart shopping techniques to help moms across the U.S. become better home economists. Thank you for visiting my blog.

I just bought it! It’s downloading to my computer now. :] Anyone who buys it, remember to download it to your computer because they said after October 25 you won’t be able to watch it online!
I just realized: the $10 credit from last week is only toward certain TV shows, which doesn’t include Avatar. Be careful if you have 1-click purchasing turned on; you’ll get charged $8.99 automatically.
oh Corrie,
I am sorry! I forgot all about that. I will correct my post.
Mercedes
That’s okay! I did what Annette did and asked them to refund my money. They usually won’t, but they made an exception.
if you call the video on demand # they will refund your money if you didn’t want to pay the 8.99 for the movie
Is the $6 credit only good toward Avatar? Thanks!
Cathy,
That’s what the guys who issued the credit said it was good for. I haven’t tried it against other movies. I guess you can try and if it doesn’t work then it doesn’t.
Mercedes
Thanks, Mercedes. My problem is I already have various credits on my account and for some reason Amazon doesn’t separate the credits for you so I wouldn’t be able to tell which credits are paying for my purchase. Oh well. Thanks again!
Here is what I did:
After I got the 10 dollar credit from amazon, they DM you a code and a link on twitter. I went to that link and clicked on the “add gift or promotional code” button. I went to the twitter post that REV3 posted with the 2 promo codes and I inputted each of those. I then ended up with 16 dollars worth of credit and I just used those to buy a whole season of a TV show my husband wanted to watch. It seems that the REV3 codes don’t have to be used on just Avatar.
If you didn’t do the amazon credit, here is the link they sent me: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=dv_twitter_followpromo?ie=UTF8&docId=1000519721
It seems to be a generic page where you enter codes for their Video on Demand, but it is hard for me to tell because I took it directly from my twitter DM and I am logged in on Amazon.
Hopefully this helps!
