I have to be honest, I’m glad I passed up those Fruit Loops a few weeks back. I was hemming and hawing, but I’ve been working so hard to get my picky eater to start making his own good eating choices (he’s almost 3), and I figured those would sabotage that effort.

*sigh* I guess we’ll stick to Cocoa puffs. Darn. ;)

  2. chasity says:

Wow. Thanks. There was a deal going on recently when you bought kellogs cereal you got some money off of a toy story 3 toy. gladly I didn’t get any of those!

That is so funny! I like to eat cereal dry as a snack – usually something healthy but I gave in to temptation at CVS last week and bought Corn Pops. I ate a couple of handfuls while reading before bed a couple of nights in a row. I woke each night with a waxy, yucky taste on my tongue and the next morning I complained to my brother how much Corn Pops have changed since we were kids – how gross to have to scrape your tongue after eating them!

THANK GOD it’s just a foreign, waxy substance in the box liner…LOL…nothing to be concerned about…just not up to Kellogg’s quality standards (or mine!) and I won’t die from eating them. Whew… ;-) And I’m from Kellogg country, too! Nothing is safe anymore. haha

ughhhh! I have 4 boxes of the Froot Loops!!! I combined a store promo, with coupons, in order to take advantage of the Toy Story 3 codes. One of the boxes is open and my kids are eating it already. I am sure my kids will be fine. This is just a little annoying. Thank you for the info! I am going to call the # that you have here. I will keep you posted.

  5. pennyscents says:

Automated system takes your info. I should receive re-imbursement coupons within 7-10 business days.

  6. Kate says:

my boxes have KNC after the date, are they included?
Cannot reach the cust service folks.
    love ur site :)

  7. Becky in KY says:

Folks, be sure you check the expiration dates before assuming your boxes are included. I just bought some Corn Pops within the past week (Rite Aid, I think), but they aren’t included — the expiraton date is before the window of dates Kellogg’s announced.

  8. Sandra says:

Mine has all the criteria but the best by date (apple jacks) is dec 02 2010 and not between June or whatever, so mine is good?

  9. Pennyscents says:

I got my coupons in the mail, and went to go use them today at Piggly Wiggly. I was told that these coupons were flagged fraudulent by their corporate office. They showed me a copy of the coupon & everything. I told them that I would drop off the envelope that I got from Kelloggs with the coupons in it. I don’t know if someone reproduced these, or what. My coupons had the foil mark built in & everything, though. Clearly not fraudulent. They are not listed on the CIC’s website. The CIC even has a coupon listed from 7/23, so I would think that they are pretty current. I was able to use the coupons at Pick N Save without a problem at all.

    • Mercedes says:

Well, that was a sale Piggly Wiggly lost. It makes me sad for uninformed cashiers. I am glad you were able to use it somewhere else.

      • Pennyscents says:

Me too! The manager even looked at them & showed me a copy of the notice that they got from their corporate office. It did have a picture of the coupons that I had with a notice saying that they were fraudulent. That’s why I am thinking that somebody may have re-produced or copied the real ones somehow. That still doesn’t explain why the CIC would not have it on their website, though. Obviously, I know for sure that mine were real.
