Grace,
I am not sure. I have never done that. Maybe someone who has done it will chime in.

Your rebate amount will be offset by the amount of the coupon. For example, if you buy a $30 backpack & have a $10 coupon, your Office Max reward will be $20. You can read the fine print at officemax.com (click on Max Perks in the middle of the page). It’s still a good deal because you’re reducing your current out-of-pocket amount as well as saving on the sales tax. If you have other items to purchase, you might want to split it into 2 transactions and use the coupon on the other items. That way you won’t have the coupon “attached” to the backpack.

Just wanted to mention to everyone that these office supply stores usually accept competitor coupons. I often take an Office Depot coupon to Staples or Office Max and vice versa.

My office max ad only has the free backpacks – I can’t find anywhere that talks about the other stuff. Does anyone have the ad pictured? If so, what is your zip code? Thanks!

Kirsten,

I just saw that! Those items were listed on the ad preview posted on their site yesterday but now they are not. I am in the same boat, I was gonna order the notebooks.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I do notttt have that much free stuff in my ad. I have some cheap pencils and glue in place of all that paper and stuff. :/ ok, but still the packpacks…I am still uncertain about the Maxperks… Too many office stores and delayed money confusion.
