This week Office Depot is offering a TON of items for free after Worklife Rewards® and Star Teacher Members. Limit 2 of each item per member per day. With this rewards program you get 100% Back in Worklife Rewards. You can shop online or in-store.
What you need to know about worklife Rewards that is important is that the cash back is in the form of store credit. Also, you can not use this credit to buy items that generate worklife rewards. These rewards don’t “roll.” These credit is great if you often buy ink or other office supplies. The items they have available right now are many and you can get two per day. Here is what you can find:
- Binders
- Writing pads
- 3M permanent labels (don’t forget about this rebate to turn into a moneymaker)
- 18ct boxes of K-cups (tons of varieties)
- Plastic storage totes
- Energizer Batteries
Also allow 4 to 6 weeks for additional rewards to post to your account and you will have 90 days to use them. Anyone can join worklife rewards, just scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the link for sign up.

I am confused about the Not rolling part. I have my giftcard from the last go around, and I asked at the store and they said using the card will not effect my getting other rewards back. Can someone please get to the bottom of it? I asked at HCW and no one responded. I would really like to get some of this stuff with my gc, but dont want to not get more rewards back.

I think the best bet is to call Office Depot customer service itself. I just share what other readers have told me that the rewards don’t roll.

Two strikes w/ Office Depot today
First, I tried to mail a Flat Rate Priority Box via USPS to Hawaii….their customer service said “sorry, our machine consider Hawaii as overseas and can’t accept it”. So much for trying to use the 15% off coupon. When i took my box to the post office, the mailman just laughed.
Second, I’ve asked the cashier about rolling the rewards and she said “yes you can use your gift rewards to buy items that have rewards”. Oh well….I will learn someday!
I just got off the phone with customer service and they confirmed that you WILL NOT get 100% rewards back if you use your rewards card to purchase it. I guess I will be returning those items I purchased on Sunday.
