Hi! I am Mercedes and this is my blog Common Sense with Money! Helping other people live better, spend less, and save more is something I am very passionate about. I combine simple frugal living tips and smart shopping techniques to help moms across the U.S. become better home economists. Thank you for visiting my blog.

I have stuff going on all weekend, but this list sounds really cool for something to do in the future. Do you know how the craft workshops work? I see that the class itself is free, but you must have to pay for the materials (heart shelf at HD & memory box at PB). Do you know how much they charge for that stuff??? Thanks for the info on this too.
I’ve never done the Home Depot kids workshops, but we’ve done Lowe’s Build and Grown clinics, and the kits are completely free! They give the kids a free apron, goggles, certificate and patch, too. I imagine, as much as Home Depot and Lowe’s compete with each other, that Home Depots kids kits are also free.
That is really cool!!!
Mercedes, Thanks again for the info! Please keep us posted about this kind of stuff in the future.
No problem. I will do this regularly. Sometimes I just run out of time. but I will try to make the time.
Mercedes
When I go to the Home Depot Kids Workshop site, it says that the workshop is from 9 am to 12 pm, not the 11-2 listed above. (maybe where you saw it was listed in Pacific time?)
Thanks for letting me know Bethany. I will double check. But go by what is posted on the home depot website.
