Honestly David this is not false. Im in La Grange Illinois and my walgreens had this deal except they were 6.49 a bottle so i got $3 off both bottles then $1 off each bottle so i ended up paying $4.98 out of pocket but got back $ 4 RR. I should post a pic of my receipt to prove it. Sorry if its not working where you are.
in which walgreens is this deal i went in 2 walgreens on la grange and no one has it for $5.49 the regular prise is$ 6.99 sooo i didnt buy any..
I also did this and got the $4 RR but like Heather, the shelf price was more so it wasn’t a moneymaker. I should have paid closer attention, I wouldn’t have bought it! BUT, the RR is true! You have to be sure to get the right type, that Mercedes has listed.

I guess I missed all the posts, I unfortunately didn’t get any RR for the listerine either. I called the Corporate offices and they said they don’t have a RR for listerine this week, oh well. I also had a clerk tell me I couldn’t use the coupons and get a RR anyway, I had to read the policy to him but he still wouldn’t ring me up in fear he would get in trouble

I didn’t get the register reward either. This really messed me up. You really should take that off of your website.
Did you guys buy the Listerine® Whitening® Rinse in the white bottle that is the one that works for this register rewards. The total care +6 whitening does not.

I bought the Listerine Zero and no RR. But still an ok deal for me. The Listerine Whitening Rinse was totally gone so I’m assuming it worked for some people!
Went to 2 Walgreens and they were out of Listerine and they cost $6.49.
This didn’t work for me either – no RR! The $3 in ad coupon only works for the Total version which is not giving a RR.
The in-ad coupon for our area is exactly like the one posted and it specifically includes the whitening plus restoring (which is not a total care). I had no problem getting this deal to work other than our local price is $6.49, so it was $.98 plus tax net for two but still a good deal since this stuff is expensive full price.
I am having difficulty at our local Walgreens and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Yesterday I purchased two shampoos which were on sale, used two manuf coupons and was supposed to receive a $5.00 RR when I was finished. Did not receive the RR and management told me that if I used a manufacturer coupon I would not recieve a RR. Has anyone else had problems with this? I checked out their website coupon policy and did not see anything that stated this. Any suggestions on how to best deal with this?
If you used a RR that you got from purchasing the same shampoos to buy more shampoos the RR will not print. If you check the RR it will say, “Thank you from …” You cannot use that RR to buy the same product. Also, RR are considered manufacturer coupons.

I don’t see how to make this deal work. The coupons are for 1.0 liter, the catalina is for the whitening listerine, but the Wags add doesn’t include that one. I tried yesterday and couldn’t get it to work. Only the 16oz was included in the sale.

It does work but you do NEED to buy the right bottles. Its DEFINITELY the white bottles 2 in 1 Listerene Whitening Restoring Post -Brush Fluoride Rinse. I got my 4 RR .
Sure I understand that the RR works when you buy the correct product, but I don’t think it can be made a mm because you can’t get the Walgreens ad coupon off of it and the printables are for 1.0L and I didn’t see 1.0L in the white bottles that produce the RR. So it’s kinda one or the other I guess. I don’t see it being a mm.
I got it to work, but it was 6.49 at my store. I bought one bottle, used $1.00 man. coupon, and $3.00 wags coupon. I got a $2.00 RR, so I paid .49 for the bottle. More than I wanted to spend for something I don’t need.
Also, no register reward. I think you were mistaken.

I did try this and accidently bought the Total Care. A little bummed…I should have read the comments and paid more attention. But, there is a new coupon for Listerine whitening plus restoring on coupons.com so I’m going to try it again and hopefully will get the RRs. Oh, and if you made a mistake and bought the wrong thing also you shouldn’t blame anyone else.
Found some more coupons and tried again and it worked for me. The reg price at my Walgreen’s was 6.99 so no moneymaker but good deal since we needed it. Thanks Mercedes!

I am going to go to walgreen today to get the deal but I want to make sure it will get RR because I couldn’t find on Walgreen ad that it will get RR only $3 off?? I only find on their ad that if you spend $25 on specific items then you will get $10 RR.

Just make sure you buy the Listerine Whitening plus Restoring and as long as the catalina machine is working at the register you should get back ya $4 register rewards.

WOO HOO, it worked for me yesterday! I live in the Columbus, Ohio area, and the Walgreens I visited had Listerine Whitening Original (blue label) on sale for $4.49. I spent $0.98 plus tax for two bottles, and received a $4.00 RR too!
IT Works!! The Original price is $6.99 not $5.49 tho! End up Paying $0.98 each after RR. Its Ok for me, better luck next time!
