I just wanted to give you a quick update on this Cottonelle deal that starts today at Walgreens. I initially reported that this deal works on the Cottonelle in the blue package. Well, it doesn’t. This register rewards offer is only working on the 12ct packages of Cottonelle Ultra that also sell for $5. This toilet paper is the one in the purple package. So here is the deal again:
Buy 2 Cottonelle Toilet Paper Ultra (purple pack) 12 pack $5.00 each
Use two $0.75/1 Cottonelle Coupon from the 9/11 SS insert
Use one$1/1 Cottonelle Walgreens Coupon fron October coupon booklet (Will deduct $2 automatically)
Pay: $6.50 and get back one $3 Register Rewards
That’s like paying $1.75 each after coupons and Register Rewards.

Thank you for the update. I tried this deal, with the blue pkg, and it didn’t work, as you said. The manager would not take $1 mani q b/c of the “Redeemable at Family Dollar.” I pointed out that it is a mani not a store coupon and he said they still could not take it. Where did you find the $3 RR deal? I looked in their flyer and didn’t see it. I just want to be able to point it out if I have trouble.

This is not an advertised deal. It is a nationwide catalina deal working at several stores and it includes Walgreens.

At other stores the cat is running through 10/30. but the Walgreens coupon I think expires before that.

i had just scored traminic double pack cost $9.99 on clearance for $2.49 pick up four boxes plus used the 1$ off coupon they had in the coupon book got a box for $1.50 .75$ each bottle
I tried this today on the ultra and no RR
I just did this in Iowa and it worked with the Ultra, but the coupons .75/1 would not work. They said I was the 2nd person to try and use them. I did get the $2 off from the IVC (bought 2 packs) but couldn’t use any coupons of my own…still it was a good deal for tp as I used a $6 rr from colgate to pay for it and then turned around and used the $3 rr from cottonelle on much needed paper towels! Worked out to $4.90 (w/tax) for 2 packs tp and 1 pkg paper towels. Thanks Mercedes!
I purchased the purple Ultra Cottonelle in Texas this morning and the RR printed. The cashier looked hard at my $1 off Cottonelle coupons because of the “Family Dollar” on it but agreed it was a mfg coupon. She scanned it and it did not even beep. Thank you Mercedes!
I did this today in Austin, TX and I did NOT get the 3RR. Since the RR weren’t advertised anywhere, I felt like I couldn’t ask since I didn’t have anything to back me up. Will have to make another trip to return them, which is annoying.
