Hi! I am Mercedes and this is my blog Common Sense with Money! Helping other people live better, spend less, and save more is something I am very passionate about. I combine simple frugal living tips and smart shopping techniques to help moms across the U.S. become better home economists. Thank you for visiting my blog.

And if you were lucky enough, not long ago, you could print out 4 different .70 cents off Kelloggs coupons, making this deal $2.90 off each of the 4 boxes.
If Kellogg’s Krave is included, this will be an even better deal because there are a ton of $.70 off 1 box coupons out there that will double if your Giant doubles to $1.40 off per box.
You could probably combine this with the Free Milk coupon from https://www.facebook.com/MilkMustache?sk=app_344904202220728 to get milk too!
We tried this deal last night, and at least at our store, the $6 is the maximum amount off AFTER coupons. Which is to say, basically, that you can’t use coupons with this deal. We had never seen a sign like that in the store, so we tried it anyway. The store scanned our $4 coupons and they went through but didn’t come off the bill, which we didn’t realize until we got home. Very annoying.
Kate, I think I know why. I ran into a weird glitch at the self-checkout today when I used these coupons. As a matter of fact, I ran into weird glitches with all of my coupons that only had the new barcode on them. I scanned my $4 coupon, it “took” it off in theory, but there were 2 different totals temporarily. For each of the new coded coupons, the cashier had to manually enter an approval for these coupons. Once she did, I saw both my total lines equal the same value. This didn’t happen with my other coupons I scanned. I’m glad I paid attention, because that would have completely slipped by me, especially since it initially entered a $4 discount on the main screen. I think this a major Giant glitch. Check to see if you had any other coupons not come off. I did get both the coupons and the $6 discount when all was said and done, and I did the deal twice.
