I bought this deal and afterwards noticed that if you don’t use it by September 30 then it is only worth the $5.00 that you paid for it.
Jean, I think that just means that you have to follow the instructions to redeem the voucher (print your card) by then. The card itself, to the best of my knowledge, will never lose value until you spend it.
When you go to the Groupon site to view your deals that you have purchased at the bottom the page this is what it says.
Don’t worry – Even after the promotional value expires, the Groupon is still worth what you paid for it.
I’m sure that most people will use it before September 30th 2013 but for me I was going to save it and use it as a stocking stuffer for Christmas but now instead I will give it to my daughter in law for her birthday.
