#1. Get them a Book

Now, I’m not just talking about going out to the bookstore and just picking up a random book off of a shelf and handing it to them. Frugal people absolutely love those “How To” books. This is because frugal people love to do their on their own. I mean, that’s part of living a frugal life, because to save the most amount of money possible, you typically have to make things from scratch. Think about the person you’re purchasing this book for and think about the things that they are interested in. Do they enjoy cooking, cleaning, sewing, knitting, canning, gardening, etc… Pick up a book on what the person is interested on and you will definitely have yourself an awesome gift to present them with.

#2. Make a Gift For Them

I absolutely love receiving handmade gifts and I absolutely love to make handmade gifts for people. There is just something about handmade gifts that are better than receiving an ordinary gift. It lets you know that the person who made this gift for you went above and beyond. Handmade gifts takes a lot of thought and they’re more special in knowing that someone took the time out of their day to actually make something for you.

#3. Cookware

Cookware is something that frugal people need all the time and we can never have enough of. This is due to the fact that we spend a lot of our time in the kitchen. Cast iron cookware is particularly a good gift for a frugal person, because cast iron cookware can practically last forever if well maintained. Also, if they don’t want to use it for cooking, cast iron makes for great decorations.

 #4. Gift Cards

To many people, gift cards seem like a gift that doesn’t require much thought and is just a gift for the sake of getting someone a gift. However, frugal people absolutely love it when we receive a gift card, because we’re frugal and often times we’re not going to go out and splurge on ourselves. Therefore, you could consider getting the frugal person in your life a gift card for a pedicure, manicure, restaurant, movie theater, massage parlor, etc… Either way, I’m absolutely sure they will love it.
