Has Anyone Tried to Rent LEGO Sets Yet?

A coupe of weeks ago, I posted about renting LEGO sets from Pley.com. My little man is out of his LEGO stage and more obsessed with WWE right now, so this wouldn’t make much sense for us. However, I’m really intrigued by the idea and I was wondering if anyone has tried it yet?

Here’s an excerpt from the original post:

Here’s how it works:

1. Sign up for a Pley.com account.

2. Choose a LEGO set you want to rent, and it will be shipped to your home for free. Your first set will arrive in Pley box that is yours to keep for building future sets.

3. Play with the LEGOS, and send them back (for FREE) when you’re done. You can then choose another set to rent!

This could be an option if you send a small fortune on LEGO sets that your little one loses interest in after they’re put together! Monthly subscriptions start at $15, and shipping both ways is always free.

No worries of a piece is lost either! You won’t be charged extra for normal losses, and you can replace the lost piece with a piece of your own too.

Worried about icky germs? No worries there either! All LEGO sets are cleaned and sanitized with commercial grade high temperature washers using Eco-friendly and kid-friendly solutions to clean inside the bricks and its studs.

I’d like to hear your thoughts on this, especially if you’ve tried it! What do you think? Do you think it’s worth it?
