As I mentioned Monday, I changed some things a bit (just a bit) to make it easier for you to find information around here.

The first thing I had added was a way to make it easier for you to choose a way get my updates:  Email, RSS reader, Twitter or Facebook.  You can subscribe to get my updates in as many ways as you choose.

Second, I added menus to make it easier for you to find Freebies, coupons and deals.  Below my blog logo you will find a navigational bar with main categories.  The first category is freebies where you can find every single free offer I have shared with you.  I looked at it and in the time I have been doing this it has over 700 entries.  If you put your mouse under the following tabs a drop down menu will appear to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for.  Just click on the word and you will find it.

If that still doesn’t help you find what you are looking for, you will also find the search bar right at the top of the site.

At the bottom you will also find links to previous posts and  my shopping how-to guides:

There are still little things here and there that I need to iron out.  But as you can see most of the changes have been to make it a better working site for you.  This is a site for you after all, so this is your time to let me know if there is something that needs to change.  I am always appreciative of your thoughtful input.  I heard from some of you that the site was loading slower.  I have changed a few settings and hopefully it is loading faster now.  Please let me know.

You may have noticed things don’t look the same since yesterday around here.  I am working on making this site easier for you to use and navigate.  That’s hard to do while still keeping the site operational.  Please forgive if for a while some of the features that were previously available are not available or if links are not working.  Once the whole process is completed I will share with you the changes and how they work for your benefit.  My goal is to make this a better working site for you.

• I am looking for a reader (or a blogger) with experience shopping at Rite Aid that can help me write this store guide.

• I am also looking for readers (or bloggers) that have experience using survey and pay when you search sites to make money from home.  I am looking for current or past users that can “review” these earn money from home opportunities.

I just spent the better part of the afternoon making my way from Milwaukee Airport to attend Blissdom.  Look who came with me down to Nashville: my little baby girl Tali.  Yeah!  first airplane ride for  her and first one for me with an infant.  I need some FREE tylenol, that’s all I am going to say.

I am so happy to be introducing to you this great new tool available. Did you experience my site being down yesterday morning and disappearing posts and comments in the afternoon?  If so, I apologize.  I was unceremoniously dumped by my web hosting company yesterday morning.  It seems my site was taking too much of their server capacity.  But no worries I have already moved to a bigger and better server already.  Growing pains is something I gladly go through as it means there are more of you out there saving money.  Thank you so much for reading my blog.

I have been sharing with you the work I have done with Leapfrog as an Ambassador for summer reading.  So far, I have taken donations of Leapfrog products to three local libraries.  But I was also given the opportunity to donate Leapfrog materials to a couple of my readers that run a daycare center from their home.

To protect their privacy I won’t share their names but they are both readers of this blog and I am happy to have been able to work with the.  The first donation was to reader “M” in Sheboygan.  She runs a homecare center for children up to the age of 8.  The homecare kit she received cotained one Leapfrog Tag reader and books and one Tag Junior reader and books.  I am just happy that all of the children under her care will be able to enjoy these resources while under her care.

The second Homecare kit I delivered was to reader “S” in Howards Grove.  She also had kids in the same age range and they all immediately got to playing with the Tag and Tag Junior readers.

Last week I had the chance to drop off another Leapfrog Library Kit to the Ostburg Public Library.  This time there was no chance for video, as I had both of my kids with me and trying to film a video would have been ultra multi-tasking.  But that didn’t take away form the moment.  I want to thank again the Oostburg Director of Children’s Services and Leapfrog for the opportunity to donate Tag and Tag Junior readers and book to the Oostburg Public library.
