Copps / Pick N Save Doubled Daze Deals 4/29

This week I have a really good deals on tortilla chips and salsa “cooked up” (pun intended) for you.  Remember that coupons are doubled when your order is more than $25 after store discounts and promotions and when you use your card. You also have the option to split your order to get more than five coupons to double. I regularly do two transactions at least. I list most of the totals after doubled coupons so you can get an idea of what could be cheap or not. The final decision of what to double is yours. Please make sure to compare this list to your local ad.  Northern and Southern Wisconsin carry different ads.  If your ad looks different check out my coupon matches for last week here.

Last week, I was asked the question of when I post my coupon matches.  You will see them go up on Tuesday evenings.  I don’t get my sales circular for the week until Tuesday afternoon.  I hope one evening is enough time to put your coupons together.

Carrie at Dollars in the Pocket has the coupon matches for the Rainbow stores up in MN. Price differences should be reflected.

Happy savings!

what a great wholly salsa/chip deal!! Thank you!! Will be almost $12 toward the $25 so a very low out of pocket deal! woot!!!

  • Marcia

I was just at Pick N Save to get bread and I checked on the juicy juice the new kind is 4/$11 also so that coupon will work!!!

  • Lea

The Wholly Guacamole coupon that you posted had an expiration date of 2/28/2009. I found one on the smartsource.com site that you could post instead:

    http://coupons.smartsource.com//index.aspx?Link=5S2ZUA6PWPEPO

    • Oh My Goodness!! so sorry about the Lea. I have updated with the new coupon that doesn’t expire until 6/1. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.

My Pick N Save is one week later, so I love the fact that you post on Tuesday night. That way I already have my plan for Wednesday, but I can see if there is anything that I was planning on buying that wasn’t on sale that could wait another week if on sale. Does that make sense or did I just confuse you more??

  • Cindy

Mercedes-did you hear back from All You re: the different coupons in the subscription versus newstand versions of the magazine? Just curious….Thanks for following up!

  • Julie

If you are like me and only get one paper, you could do the Wholly deal with the Mission chips and not have to “waste” one of your doubles. Use one mission coupon, use one 3 off chips and double the Wholly one. That would end up the same if I figured correctly.

  • Kelly

Mercedes-The coupon you posted from 4/19 SS for the hot dogs, is that the Target coupon? Does PNS honor these? Thank you so much for the PNS matchup, it helps tremendously!!!

    • Ugh Kelly! you are right! the manufacturer coupon we got was for the Ballpark franks. Hold on to your coupons as those should be on sale very soon. I expect all of that to be on really good sales by memorial day.

      Mercedes

  • Kelly

Bummer, I was hoping you were on to something! Thanks for letting me know! Have a great night!

  • Stephanie

You said that we could “Use two $3 off any tortilla chips wyb any Wholly Salsa.” Is that with a coupon, if so from where?

    • Sorry Stephanie,
That coupon is also from 4/19 SS insert.

      Mercedes

  • rachna

hey i was wondering if the cereal were also on sale???

  • rachna

hey guys help the new girl out
how can u use two coupons from 4/19 ss for tortilla chips.
two $3 off any tortilla chips wyb any Wholly Salsa from 4/19 SS insert

    thanks

    • Hi Rachna,

The coupon asks for you to buy one salsa product and you get $3 off chips. Since you are buying two salsas you can use two coupons. You can also just buy one salsa. Also cereals are on sale 4/$10 (kelloggs).

You can view the ad online at picknsave.com

  • In my store flyer: Buy two 100% Juice Tree Top 64 oz juices, get $2 off. Reg price $2.79

Scenario (do this as one single transaction) :

buy 10 Tree Top Juices $27.97
    -$10 in store promo
    use 5 $1/2 coupons doubled
pay $7.90 for 10 bottles of juice.

Much better deal then Juicy Juice, which is only 33 oz.

  • My Wholly salsa deal didn’t go down as outlined. I was not able to use the Save $3 on chips combined with a BOGO. I was able to use the $1 off combined with the BOGO.

It was so confusing with all my coupons and the rest of the order, but I ended up with 2 bags of tortillas, 4 salsas, 4 bags of cat food, 3 boxes of those fruit freezers and 3 bottles of tabasco for $7.50, so I am hardly complaining. It was just real confusing to sort out.

  • rachna

hey i like in milwaukee and just coming from pick & save. they dont have the wholly gauc on sale and niether the chips. i think the sale starts here on thursday. will be waiting for the ad papers today.

tahnks for ur reply on cereal and tortilla chips.

  • Thanks Mercedes! FYI – I changed the name of my blog to Pocket Your Dollars. Off to go double couponing 🙂 –Carrie

  • Rachel

I’m new to this and sent my husband to the store with coupons expecting them to be doubled. They weren’t, as far as I could see from the receipt. Is there something that explains more what we have to do to qualify? He did go to Pick n Save, he did spend much more than $25, he did use our card. Do the coupons have to be more or less than an amt – I sent him with all under $1 coupons as I think I was getting it mixed up withe Harris Teeter info (which I sent to my sisters in AT and NC, by the way – thanks for the info)? Do we have to register our card in some way? I checked ahead and none of the coupons said “not subject to doubling”. Thanks for the help.

    • Hi Rachel,

Did he go on a Wednesday? If he didn’t get his coupons doubled and he did all of the things he mentioned he needs to go to Customer Service and find out why the coupons didn’t double. It seems he did everything right, so maybe the registers were not programmed to double that day. I can’t help you directly, but YOU can help yourself by bringing this up to customer service.

      Mercedes

  • Rachel

Thanks for getting back to me. So Wednesday is a requirement? That’s the one we missed then. Thanks.

  • The Kellogs deal is 4/$10. There were a bunch of printable coupons for $1 off Mini Wheats, Raisin Bran, Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, Corn Pops, and Apple Jacks about a week ago. (Sorry, I can’t remember where I got these – I think you wrote about it in a post) If you use 4 of them as your doubles, you’d get the boxes for 50 cents apiece.
