Copps/Pick N Save: Kraft Cheese Deal

kraftcheese

Hey Wisconsin readers! here’s a very hot deal on Kraft cheese available today and tomorrow only though. According to Carrie over at Pocket your Dollars, there’s a new catalina promotion starting today at Copps/Pick N Save/Rainbow Foods. The promotion is get a coupon for $5 off your next order when you buy five Kraft cheeses. The Kraft shredded, crumbles, chunk or Deli fresh are on sale this wee (ends tomorrow) for $1.49 at some stores, other stores have it for $1.66. There’s also an in-store flyer coupon for $1 off when you buy three bags. Here’s how you can get very cheap cheese:

Buy five bags of Kraft Cheese $7.45 or $8.3 depending on sale price your store is offering
-$1 off three coupon from in-store flyer
Pay as little as $6.45 for six bags AND get a coupon for $5 off your next purchase.

That’s like paying only 29 cents per bag of cheese! Cheese freezes well by the way, so stock up! If your store is out of cheese, don’t forget to get a raincheck for the sales price. Even without the in-store coupon this is a really good deal on cheese and the catalina promo doesn’t end tomorrow.

Thanks Carrie for the heads up on this great deal!

This is unrelated, but I didn’t know where to post this question. Has anyone had trouble with the caregivers marketplace program since they changed the number of diapers in Huggies jumbo packs? I’m getting mine ready to send in, but the form says that size 4 is 34 count, and the ones I bought were 31 count. I know they have been picky in the past, so I would appreciate any info. Thanks!

    • Sarah-
I got an email from Caregivers Marketplace in November saying they added the new package sizes into the program, so you should be fine. It’s a good thing you held onto your receipts, because people who sent them in earlier, before they changed over their system (before October) were out of luck and didn’t get rebates for those packages. Here is part of the email they sent in November:
“New Huggies, GoodNites and Pull-Ups products have been added to the Caregivers Marketplace list of rebate-eligible brands. Discontinued Huggies, GoodNites and Pull-Ups products will also continue to be cash back eligible through 1/31/2010 as long as the receipt is from 2009.”

Hope that helps! 🙂 If you want a copy of the full email, which lists all the UPCs, email me at momforhim at gmail dot com and I will forward it to you. 🙂 I’m getting ready to send in my receipts for the year as well, and I think I might print off and send in a copy of the email as well, just to be on the safe side.

        Thank you so much Jessica!

  • Thank you, thank you! I was just saying that I needed cheese and I’m voluntarily limiting my grocery budget to $15 a week this month to clear out my stockpile. Cheese is a necessity in our household, so this is VERY helpful! Heading to Rainbow right now!

  • Andrea

It didn’t work for me in Waterford! 🙁 Boo! Does anyone know what to do next? Is this only a NE deal?

    • Laura

I got something telling about the deal, but not the $5, so I am going to go to customer service tomorrow and see if they’ll give me something. Hopefully!!??

  • kim

Worked for me in Franklin, though ours are at 1.66 so it working out to be .50/bag after cat.

  • Diana

Where did you find the instore flyer?

  • Veronica

Hmmm… went to Pick N Save in SE WI and purchased the five products and got a catalina outlining the “deal”, but no $5 off a future order. I’ll just have to go to the service desk my next visit I suppose.

    • Veronica

Had a crazy experience! Hubby went back to the store to see about the $5 not received (we bought EXACTLY what’s included – 5 Natural shredded cheese). What a fiasco! The customer service clerk and store manager said that the deal wasn’t good until I purchased ANOTHER 5!! They said I received the first catalina because I purchased 5 products and that meant I would get $5 off when I made another purchase of 5. Their stance was that this was not in a printed ad anywhere, and I therefore should not have known about it. I did not budge and ultimately got a $5 gift card. It’s the Sussex Pick n Save, by the way. This is the same store that a couple months ago told me I could only use a manufacturer’s coupon once per visit (i.e. if I had two Eggo coupons and bought two Eggo products that isn’t allowed!!)…. This store and it’s employees need some serious training!

  • Emily

Does anyone know if it rolls?

  • Terri L

Didn’t work for me in Sheboygan.

    • Kristin

It worked for me in Sheboygan at the Calumet store. It was rolling too! I bought the bagged shredded cheese and one block of cheese. Did the transaction twice and worked perfectly! I may need to go back to get more… I swear that my son only eats cheese! Thanks Mercedes for posting this deal!

      • Kristin

Oh but I did my transaction yesterday on the first… hope it is still running today 🙂

        • Terri L

I tried yesterday at the 25th street store. Shoot! If I get back to Sheboygan today I’ll try the Calumet store. Thanks for the info!

  • Kim

My PNS in West Allis only printed out an ad for the deal, but when I took it to customer service, they gave me $5 cash.

  • Kathryn

This morning I tried to do the deal with a combination of 2% chunk and shredded cheese and the $5 did NOT print. I remember a previous catalina excluded the 2% varieties so I did 2 seperate transactions this afternoon (1st one had only shredded and no 2% milk variety blends) (2nd had chunk cheese and once again without the 2% milk varieties) and BOTH PRINTED the $5 OYNO and I was able to roll the 1st $5 coupon into the second transaction. Hope this helps.

  • TracyZ

did you check the bottom of your receipt for the coupon 5$ off your next visit? That’s where you can usually find that stuff and it is not obvious. if you weren’t looking for it, it would be easy to miss.

  • Kathryn

This promotion printed through the catalina machine itself not on the bottom of the receipt.

  • Deb H.

I just purchased 5 Kraft items at the Watertown store. I purchased 3 Kraft Natural Shred (mont. jack) and 2 packs of slices (2%) and the coupon did NOT print but an advertisement for the deal did print. I took my recipt, the advertisement and my groceries to the customer service and they gave me a $5 gift card. The associate said that it was probably because there was a particular flavor or kind that was not “right” but they weren’t sure which item “glitched” the system. She said that the companies set the coupons to print for certain flavors but it is not necessarily printed anywhere. I was impressed with the customer service! Too bad Kraft makes it so difficult, if they are trying to garner more customers, they aren’t doing a very good job!

    • Hi Deb,

I agree with what the cashier told you. I think you and the rest here that have had problems with the cat printing is because you are adding at least one item that is not programmed for this promotion. With so many kraft proucts I imagine they let one or two slip and with the stores not tagging this properly is hard for us to tell what product that is. CS is usually great for me at PNS/Copps.

      • Veronica

Read about my insane, horrible customer service experience above!

  • Stephanie

Yesterday at Milwaukee PNS, I purchased five 8 oz packages of Kraft natural shredded cheese. The regular kind not 2% or fat free. The catalina for $5.00 off next purchase printed without a problem.

  • Sarah C

Thank you SO much for posting this deal, Mercedes. Cheese is so expensive, normally, and my husband loves to eat it on/with everything. Your time was greatly appreciated for this one – I got 10 blocks of cheese for super cheap!
