Coupon Insert Preview: 5/2

Holy smokes!  Please pardon my excitement but there are some pretty hot coupons coming out in this coming Sunday’s newspaper inserts.  I know that due to regional differences not everyone will get these coupons or coupon values.  If you do get them, you may want to consider grabbing some extra newspapers.  If you don’t get them, then maybe you would want to go ahead and buy them from a coupon clipping service like the Coupon Clippers.  Here are the coupons that I think are HOT:

SmartSource Insert
$0.50/1 Steamfresh Vegetable, Pasta or Rice, exp. 5-30 (should make the veggies free after doubles when on sale)
$0.75/1 Hormel Pepperoni Product, exp. 6-27-10
$5/2 John Frieda Root Awakening Product, exp. 6-5-10
$1/1 Purina Friskies Cat Treats, exp. 8-2-10 (free at Petsmart)
$0.55/1 Shout Laundry Product, exp. 6-12-10 (use in this Target deal)
$1/1 Starbucks Frappuccino Coffee Drink, exp. 7-31-10 (goes on sale for $1.25 at Walgreens often)
$1.50/1 Sure for Women or Men, exp. 6-30-10 (Free at Walgreens starting on 5/2)

Red Plum insert
B1G1 Tic Tac Singles, exp. 7-31-10
$4/1 Nivea body wash (moneymaker at CVS AND Walgreens)

P&G insert
$4/1 Febreze Noticeables Starter Kit, exp. 5-31-10 (I just love this stuff!)
FREE Old Spice Deodorant wyb Body Wash/Deodorant, exp. 6-30
$2/1 Select Secret Products, exp. 6-30
$1/1 Always Pantiliners, exp. 5-31-10 (makes them cheap at Walmart)

As you can see, there are some really HOT coupons coming out.  if you would like to see the rest of what’s coming out check out Deal Seeking Mom’s list.

Which coupon are you hoping your are definitely gets? I am hoping we get the Nivea Body wash coupon, Starbucks Frapp and Pepperoni coupons.

I was shocked to see the Red Plum in my mailbox on Wednesday. I guess Indianapolis is one of the new markets for direct-mailing of the RP insert. I won’t complain 🙂

Definately the pepperoni, Friskies, and the John Frieda would be nice… and I do like to treat myself to Starbucks occationally!

FYI: I just went to Petsmart yesterday for my usual every 2 week stock up of food/treats for my “kids”, and was disappointed to see that the Party mix treats were back to the “regular” PetPerks price of 1.33. I only saw the $1 price there for a short time. Still makes for cheap kitty treats, but not free….

I get the coupon inserts delivered to my driveway on Thursday so I have the inserts and have already used some of the coupons. Check your Target stores. I found Gillette body washes on clearance for $1.52. I used B1G1 coupons from the inserts to score 76-cent full-size body washes.

I also got the $4/1 Nivea and I liked the $2/1 Downy (deal right now at Target to get a $5 gift card if you buy two — these $2 coupons made for a good deal).

      Hi Ida-
Where do you live that you are able to get the inserts delivered on Thursday? I live in Kansas City and don’t believe my city does it, but would love to find out!
      Thanks!

Taa: I live in a suburb of Atlanta, Ga. A lot of neighborhoods here in the area get them delivered to their driveways with a small newspaper supplement Evening Edge. More details here: http://www.youraudiencedelivered.com/print/evening-edge.html

I am very lucky to live in Atlanta. I’ve also lived in Texas, New Mexico, Illinois, and New York and was only able to get the coupon inserts in the Sunday paper. So the fact that they are now delivered straight to my home for free every week is awesome.
