  • Hi mercedes, just wondering if anyone else has noticed their Wal-Marts not accepting B1G1 or free internet printed coupons? Mine refused today saying it was counterfiet (the minute maid one). It was very frustrating and embarrassing. I just went through your links to the walmart coupon policy and it states they accept both, so i emailed the corporate office. We will see if they respond. Just curious if I had an over-zealous cashier or if they are changing their policy.

    • Jennifer,
From what I understand Walmart changed their policy and now they don’t take printable coupons for free items. But I think it didn’t change for B1G1 free items, although they leave some discretion to store managers.

It highly varies from Walmart to Walmart what they tell you and what they will accept. They have a policy, but more than one person has been told by corporate that the final word is up to the store manager (regardless of the policy). My Walmart will not a coupon that is even a penny more than the price of the item, nor will they adjust it down. Huge headache in my opinion.
