CVS Deal: Three John Frieda Products for $0.97

CVS is running an Extra Care Bucks deal on John Frieda products:  Buy $15 in John Frieda products and get back $5 ECBs.  Here’s how to get three of these products for $0.97:

Buy three John Frieda shampoo or conditioners $4.99
Use three $3/1 John Frieda products from 3/7 inserts (expires 4/10)
Pay $5.97 plus tax out of pocket and get back $5 ECBs

Yes!  The deal works even when you buy only $14.97 instead of the full $15.  This has been verified by Amy of Who Said Nothing in Life is Free.  If you have already done your weekly shopping at CVS, don’t fret about missing out on this deal. I just looked at next week’s sales circular and it is advertised there again.  This leads me to believe that it may be a monthly deal.  But in either case, the limit is still ONE and if you don’t do it this week you can do it next week.  Update:  this coupon expires on 4/10, so you will need to do this deal before then.

Thanks Amy!

FYI: this John Frieda coupon expires 4/10 so you won’t be able to get this great of a deal next week.

I can’t find it. Is there a trick to locating this coupon on coupons.com

    • The coupon is not available anymore. But I just posted a new way to get another one.

  • I tried doing this deal at my CVS today. I bought a shampoo, conditioner and the gloss finish spray (all $4.99) but my ECBs did not print out. It didn’t even show at the bottom of the receipt that I had bought qualifying products towards the deal. Does anyone know if this is only on specific JF products? All of these items were tagged as part of the sale 🙁
