I wish I was near a CVS. I think Chestal’s the best cough syrup I’ve tried and it’s not as nasty as most.

Went to CVS in Central OH – Chestal is not on sale. Found it regular retail @ $ 8.39 with no RR. Guess this must be a regional thing.

      • MD,
Is this the price you got at the scanner or the shelf price. If so it was possibly not tagged at your store.

I asked them to scan it at the register. Not on sale. Probably a regional or store only sale. Love your blog though!

          • When they scan it they also need to scan your extra care bucks card to get the sale price.
            Hope that helps,

Went to my CVS in Memphis TN last night. This was not on sale, listed as $7.29. Ran the barcode under the scanner, which confirmed not on sale. I asked the manager, she was baffled and said it must be a regional sale. I’ll hang onto the coupon, you never know, it may be on sale next week!! 🙂

I found this in 2 of the four cvs I went to (within the chicago loop). It seems though the deal is only on the adult cough medicine and the coupon is for the childrens version.
