How are you using three manufacturer coupons on two products (and one of this is a BOGO)?

    • Hi Cam,

I just revised my scenarios. i thought the Off coupon on the CVS website was a store coupon not a manufacturer coupon.

i am really confused now because the coupon i just printed IS a CVS store coupon…

I love your site and all the info you have but the Off Post and the way you have posted about using the coupons is wrong and not the correct way of using coupons. You have a lot of people reading your blog and I would hate to think that they are going to use the coupons the way you posted?

Off clip on repellant refill $2.99
Use $1/1 Off! Clip-On Refill 5/16/2010 SS Insert (exp 6/26/2010)
Use $3/1 Off Clip on Mosquito Repellent product < ————– THIS IS A MANF COUPON it starts with a '5' not a '4' which CVS coupons start with + it has a redemption address
    FREE plus $1 in overage

Buy two Off Clip On Kits $7.99
Use B1G1 Off Clip-On Mosquito Repellent Starter (up to $10 value)
PLUS use $2/1 Off! Clip-On Starter 5/16/2010 SS Insert (exp 6/26/2010) or $2/1 printable
PLUS Use two $3/1 Off Clip on Mosquito Repellent product < ————– THIS IS A MANF COUPON it starts with a '5' not a '4' which CVS coupons start with + it has a redemption address
    FREE after coupons

    • Hi Cindy,
Thanks so much for letting me know! Honestly I didn’t print the Off coupon and I thought it was a store coupon. I just revised my scenarios.

Cindy, you’re still using a manufacturer coupon on the FREE item, which isn’t allowed to my understanding.

    • Patti

Combining a BOGO coupon, which attaches to the free item, and a cents-off coupon, which attaches to the first one you bought, is a YMMV sort of thing. I am able to do it at Walgreens, CVS, Target, and my local grocery stores. I believe it depends on how the coupon is coded, whether it attaches to one or two items. But yes it certainly is allowed.

I just went to CVS this morning to do the refill deal. I used the $1/1 MQ (forget which insert it came from) and the $3/1 coupon from the CVS site. When I printed my $3/1 coupon it said CVS coupon at the top so THIS IS a CVS store coupon and they honored that when I bought mine! There was no register beep either. So you should be able to use the $1/1 MQ and the $3/1 CVS coupon to get them FREE plus $1 overage. Also, my store had them on sale for $3.19 instead of $2.99 but this was still a great deal at $3.19!!!

    It work, I did it.
I bought 2 Off clip-on starters kit, and just pay tax 🙂

My CVS sale paper advertises $1.00 of of any Raid or Off product w/ your card. The refills are reg. 3.99 – 1.00 (W/C) – 3.00 coupon = free

  • Val

You guys are lucky, my CVS in Atlanta has them on “sale” for $4.99, with $1 off for Off products. But the cashier let me know that the $1 was only for the starter kits, not refills, and that the coupons were not for refills either… I forgot to price-check the item, but I’ll go to a different CVS tomorrow to check it out.

    • Jen

The CVS coupon is for one off clip on product, so you CAN use it on the refills! Happy shopping!
