Exchange Unwanted Gift Cards for Walmart eGift Cards! 2014-12-27 13-37-12

If you got a pile of gift cards for stores and restaurants you don’t go to this holiday, you can exchange them for Walmart eGift cards. The eGift cards can be used online at or in stores if you print them. You can exchange gift cards from tons of merchants, including CVS, Kmart, Outback Steakhouse, and Amazon.

Just head to and enter the gift card merchant and balance to get an offer. Depending on the retailer, you could get up to 97% of the value of your unwanted gift card on a Walmart eGift card. Your eGift Card will be emailed to you in a printable format once your order has been approved. Approval time generally takes 1-2 hours but can take up to 24 hours.

They require a credit card for verification. I don’t know why they would need that when they require you to put in the gift card # an the pin number and can verify the gift card. I would be careful about why they would require a cc#. It says 1- 2 hours but it also says it can take up to 24 hours to get. You put in the retailer and the balance on the card and it will tell you what they will give you on a walmart egift card. As long as you give them a cc# to put through a .01 cent to your credit card for verifying.
