I don’t have a Food Lion where I live, but I signed up anyways. Maybe these will be manufacturer’s coupons and not Food Lion coupons. I’m hoping!

  • KMS

I’ve never seen a food lion but I did this deal anyway. You don’t have to have your number, you can text back “no” when they ask for it. Also If you do one of these they will send you all 3 deals. That’s what my text said when I started doing the second deal 🙂

  • Thanks for the heads up. I did this and when I started the second deal, like KMS, it said they would send all three coupons. I do have a Food Lion MVP card, though. 🙂

my question, if you register with them do they send a lot text messages? I’d like to do these deals but the only cell phone with unlimited texting in the house belongs to my husband. he will not be impressed with getting lots of texts so can you tell me? do they send more texts than you request?

    • Hi Linda,

I am signed up with them and have never received a text message from there. I can’t recall now but there may be an option to “opt out” from getting text messages from them or they just simply don’t send any.

Thanks! Maybe I’ll try to convince dh to let me sign up! 🙂

  • Does anyone know if these offers are usually for full sized items? Or are they simply samples?
