Here are this weekend’s free activities. Remember to always check your local store to make sure these events are happening in your area.

AC Moore: On Saturday 09/17 from 1-3pm, you can buy a pumpkin and decorate it for free with duct tape. Use 50% off one regular price item coupon.

Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores: On Saturday 09/17 from 11am-3pm check out the free demo, ProvoCraft Cricut Machine. From 3-5pm check out Fleece With Flair.

Lakeshore Learning: On Saturday 09/17 from 11am-3pm, check out the event Free Make-Your-Own Fossil. Kids learn about fossils and create their own impression.

Michaels: On Saturday 09/17 from 10am-11am check out the adult’s only event Tim Holz Distress Ink. From 11am to noon, FREE Make-It Take-It Birthday Card, which is another adult only event.

Pottery Barn Kids: On Saturday 09/17 from 3-5pm check out the Star Wars Red Carpet Event, celebrate the release of the Stars Wars Saga on Blu-ray. Kids can dress up in their favorite character. Don’t forget to bring the camera! Enjoy the giveaways and a chance to win a Blu-ray box set. On Tuesday 09/20 at 10am, check out Read Along with Curious George, reading and activities for kids. Select stores will have a chance to meet George.

Target: Find your city to check out the local events.

Toys R Us: On Saturday 09/17 from 12m-2pm, check out the LEGO Ninjago Spinjitzu Camp. Then 09/18 through 09/25 check out the FREE Pokemon Zoroark Character Download. Bring your Nintendo DS system and your Pokémon Black or Pokémon White Version games to Toys R Us to download Zoroark.

On Saturday, 09/24, check out the National Public Lands Day and Worldwide Day of Play. Free entrance to parks!

Also on Saturday, 09/24, check out Museum Day from Smithsonian. Free admission at participating venues with ticket.

    WE used to go to free summer concerts in a nearby park. There are loads of free things to do, if you look.
