*HOT* $3/1 Lay’s Potato Chips Printable Coupons

You can print the following high value Lay’s Potato Chips Printable Coupons from the PPGazette website.  if you do not have an account with them, just sign up quickly, it doesn’t take long and print these hot coupons.

Save $3/1 Lay’s 10oz + (should make for free chips!)

Save $3/2 Lays 10oz +

Save $1/1 Lays 10oz+

These coupons print with the words “Winco Foods” and store logo but the wording does not state they are redeemeable at that store ONLY.  If you have stores that are not fussy about this you should have no problems using your coupons.

IMPORTANT: It looks like these print better using Firefox web browser.  It looks like Internet Explorer does not work very well with these.

UPDATE on these coupons:  I reached out to my contact at the Catalina MArketing Company regarding the validity of these coupons and she said the coupons were available on the PP Gazette by mistake but if you printed the coupons they are valid.

At Target (or price patched at Walmart) They are 2/$4. Sounds like a money maker with this coupon.

  • Kelly

Is this a scam? It printed off some coupons, but not the ones I really wanted. The Lay’s coupons would not print. Very frustrating.

  • Amanda

try a different browser, that worked for me!

  • Tami Faurote

I tried to print in IE and Chrome and they both kept telling me to install the coupon printer. It doesn’t install. I don’t have FF.

  • Lori S

I was able to print 2 $3 and 2 $3 off of 2 but the number in the right hand corner under the QR scan is the same for all 4 of them. Isn’t that bad?

    • Jennifer

I had the same thing happen to me. I’m confused, because when I printed these from the coupon network earlier this week, all the coupons had different QR codes. I don’t think I’m going to risk using them.

  • Diana

Wouldn’t print mine. Said it had reached the maximum allowed prints. 🙁

  • Linda S.

I’m wondering about the QR scan number too. It’s the same on all of my coupons too.

  • Juanita

Okay, so I just installed Firefox for this. I printed all 3 Lays coupons. I printed them twice and noticed that both sets had the same numbers just above the long barcode. I assumed there was an individual # for each coupon like most other coupon and it would be different. The #’s between the 3 coupons were different, but the second set had all the same #’s. I then closed out Firefox and re-opened it and tried to print one coupon for a THIRD time and it printed, but with all the same #’s again. Is there something wrong here? Can I use all 3 coupons? Or even 1 of the coupons? The # above the barcode for the $3/1 coupon is 0028400-128955. There is also a # below the right hand corner with the same # for all the coupons – 1126724646. I don’t want to do something wrong and commit coupon fraud. Can someone please explain this to me.

    • Vic

Yup, I have the exact same number on it and I was able to print more than two times. But I am not going to use them at all, too fishy. And I always go to the same stores and the cashiers know me well and I do not want to break that trust. It’s not worth it!

      • Vic

And if you printed other coupons before from couponnetwork, you will know ALL of them have a different number under that scanning qr thing.

        • juanita

Thanks. I agree – Too Fishy! I certainly would not want to use a fake coupon and have those cashiers who I know to think badly of me. I also don’t want to give the stores any reason to make couponing any harder than it is.

  • elena

same for me, max print ….grrr

  • Shelley

FF would not work for me – told me they were maxed, but IE worked just fine….

  • Shelley

I think the QR is linking back to WinCo Foods because mine all printed with that logo on them – I don’t think it has anything to do with the coupons….

    • juanita

Do all of your coupons that are the same, ie. $3/1 have all the same #’s everywhere? I was able to print 3 and maybe more. I didn’t try more because I didn’t want to waste the ink, due to all of them being identical.

  • Jason

If you printed the one from the PP Gazette site, it is not a legit coupon. Please do not use it as stores will probably not be reimbursed. If you printed this coupon last week, that coupon is ok to use.

DO NOT USE THE COUPON FROM PPGAZETTE! IT IS NOT REAL and all you will be doing is hurting the couponing community in the end!

    • The coupons from the PP GAzette are still served by the Coupon Network. It’s an iframe and the PP Gazette can’t manually add any coupons to what they are offering. This seems to be an exclusive offer.

FYI THEY ARE FAKE they have been REPORTED do NOT USE.

    • juanita

How do we find out that it had been reported? I was questioning this coupon and do not want to use a fraudulant coupon. Just wondering how you can find out if a coupon is fake.

      • Shannon

IF coupons print the the SAME SERIAL NUMBERS..they are FAKE.

When I printed them the other day they had DIFFERENT NUMBERS. When I tried it today they HAVE THE SAME NUMBERS….RED FLAG! That means FAKE. Reguardless of where they came from coupons from those sites…( redplum, smartsource, couponnetwork) have 2 prints per computer and have dfferent serial numbers to PREVENT FRAUD. Stores don’t like coupons with the same serial numbers, they will say that you copied them and that is fraud! So either way they will be problematic.

    • Meg

If these are indeed fake then please provide the link to where it says these are fake!

      • Dag

Search for Lays on this list and compare the barcode on your coupons:

        • Dag,
You can’t just compare the barcode. Barcodes will match if the discount is the same, in this case for the $3/1 coupon because it is standard. Check out the coupon as listed on the coupon information center and they do not look the same.

  • Guys,
I have reached out to my contact at the Coupon network to get the information straight from the horse’s mouth.
All I see here is speculation as I do not see a link to a notice that these are fraudulent anywhere.

    • tammi

Any word on this? Since everyone is getting the same exact code this is going to be a huge problem.

    • Jamie

Please let me know as soon as you hear. I used two this morning and they scanned. I will watch and wait before I use more

  • Evaa

I think this coupons are FAKE, I can print as many as I can. Just for the sake I hit the print button again and again and it print me 10 coupons with the same Serial Number. I think it will be a huge issue with Stores accespting the same Serial Number coupon of Lays. I will write a email to Lays/P&G and verify about this coupon. I am really not sure what’s all these fuss about.

  • Gloria

I was able to print 2 last night and after seeing comments today I went back and printed 3 more today and apparently could have continued pronting as many as I wanted. All of these have the same number. I have no idea – I won’t use all these as I don’t need 5 bags of chips but all the sites this is published on continue to say the coupon is valid. So I probably will the coupon unless I see a post to the contrary.

  • Meg

Thank you Mercedes for getting the facts on these coupons! Greatly appreciated 🙂

  • Sharon

Well they are not there now…

  • Katie

Just received the email from coupon network corp confirmed that the coupon is real. I have the email with me.

    • Linda S.

Katie, Are you able to send the website that confirms that the coupon is real? Thanks!

      • Linda S.

        Thanks to all.

      • katie

i don’t know how to post an email. I got an email from corp confirming the coupons are valid and can be used. However, you are only allow to use 1 time for each coupon. I know some of us printed multiple copies, but corp confirmed only 1 time use. I can forward you the email if you send me your email address. 🙂

This is an email just received……………
    Thank you for contacting us.

The coupons being spread throughout the internet for Frito-Lay snacks are counterfeit. They were not created, authorized or distributed by Frito-Lay.

We are taking steps to notify our retail customers about these fraudulent coupons and to identify its source. You should not knowingly use a counterfeit coupon.

We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and confusion this has caused. Please watch for valid coupons and sales in stores, magazines, Sunday newspaper ads, and on our official websites.

You are a valued consumer and we hope you will continue to enjoy Frito-Lay snacks.

This is the email i got from coupon network corp. i am not so sure which to believe. Here is my email.

    Attention Couponers

    Thank you for contacting us.

Many of you are already aware of the amazing Lay’s® potato chips coupons that have been available for the last day. Our coupon, $3 off a 10 oz. bag of Lay’s® potato chips certainly got A LOT of attention! Sorry to say that Coupon Network took these coupons down earlier this morning.

Fraudulent or Not? Because of the unbelievable coupon value and the fact that the coupons were not available on the Coupon Network website, we have received thousands of support emails asking if these coupons might be fraudulant. While the availability of the coupons was due to a technical mistake, our contacts there have assured us that the coupons are valid and can be used! So for those of you who were able to print these in time, you got one heck of a good deal! However, please note that if you were able to print multiple coupons that have identical bar code numbers, you are only allowed to use one of these at the store. Future Updates on Facebook We’ve also recently launched a new Facebook page (Like Us!) where we will keep you up to date on special situations such as this, post our latest newsletters and post new offers.

    Happy Couponing!

PPGazette and your friends at CouponNetwork

  • Linda S.

Wow . . . looks like conflicting answers from Frito-Lay and PPGazette. It also sounds like some of you are getting some pretty good deals! I plan to try and use one of the coupons, as all of the codes are the same on the multiple copies that continued to print.

I’m sure we all just want to be sure that we are not jeopardizing our future “relationships” with stores and the good deals we are able to secure. Legitimate couponing is great; it’s the hoarding and extremism that we all “pay” for.

    Thanks all!

    • Linda S.

Thanks. I saw the fradulent coupon spreadsheet earlier. None of the coupons I have match the codes on that link.

Just going to give it a whirl and see what happens.

    look up, Lays

Several fraudulent, PDF format, internet coupons for Lay’s products do come up. These Coupon Network/PPGazette coupons are not there, though. I don’t think the Lay’s e-mail from above is able to see the offer that the person was referring to when they e-mailed them, and give a direct response to this particular coupon.
