Looks like SuperValu is selling Shaw’s as well as Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, and Acme (877 supermarkets) to a group led by Cerberus Capital Management. This is the same group that took a portion of the Albertsons LLC stores previously. There is no information yet whether they will keep all the brands operating and just downsize or what. [...]
