If you store accepts competitor coupons, use the office depot $10/$25 coupon for an even better savings! Courtesy of SDs: http://f.chtah.com/i/48/1237020949/online_coupon_071610_76602147.pdf

I find Staples never accepts these coupons. They claim they are one time use for a specific customer and have been posted on the web. However, competitors have always accepted them. Ironic!

My Staples takes them without any hesitation whatsoever, however, I suppose each store is different depending on the manager, staff, etc. Personally, I won’t shop at Office Depot because of my own personal experience with their atrocious customer service….but that’s another story.

If you look at the link, you’ll see that the email address is coded into the URL, so it’s very possible it’s one-time use only.

  3. I just bought printer ink yesterday before seeing the Q. I took the Q
back in today with my receipt and they let me use it. They had to return my item and then rebuy it, but I didn’t even have the actuall ink with me. Very helpful and worth $5 back in my pocket.

Thanks for the Office Depot coupon – Staples took it with no problem.

I just went to my Staples and asked if they’d take the coupon before trying to purchase anything. They said they’d honor it, so I got 2 of the photo paper packs and 2 of the HammerMill paper packs. The paper rang up as 4.99 (with the instant rebate already figured in), and the photo paper was 9.99 each. Subtotal $29.96 less $10 Office Depot coupon, brings total to $19.96 plus tax and rebates for $27.46. Not bad!!

In my experience, the staples rebates take off certain percentages for using a coupon. So unfortunately, you probably won’t receive the full rebate.
