I went to Staples last night with the two coupons for $1 off. However, there wasn’t any rebate on the paper. ??

Went to Staples yesterday and there was nothing about a rebate, and the paper was priced at $7.79 each…. anyone have any additional input on this deal?

  • AJ

I also did the rebate yesterday and everything went fine.

Got 1 receipt from the cashier and 1 rebate receipt from a separate machine.

    Mailed it the same day!

Sharla, did the cashier give you 4 receipts since you bought two HP Multipurpose Paper? If you didn’t go back and ask to talk to the manager

Amanda, I think you got the wrong one. I had to look for a couple of minutes to find it.
Make sure the coupon picture matches the item.
Did you ask an employee to help you look?

I’ll stop by and check again. It was the same one on the coupon (HP multipurpose colorlok), but I’ll talk to someone this time– maybe for some reason my stores price is just higher. Did you have your 2 packs rung up together, or purchase them separately for the rebate? Also, did your store have a sign up about the rebate, or did it just print out when you bought them?

  • Sharla

It did not print out the rebate receipts, so I had her return the paper. I didn’t see anything in the store or weekly ad about rebates on the paper.

  • Sharla

Yay – I noticed this week’s Staples ad has the paper for $1 after rebate!

I’m online, and there isn’t a rebate for the batteries. They are priced at 14.29 each. The paper is also priced higher than 5.99. (Not that it matters if the rebates are that good!) Rebates also say ‘At Staples stores only’. Does this mean you can’t order online?
