*UPDATE 11/30/14* The Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee deadline (Dec 1, 2014 11:59 PM CT) is quickly approaching and I know that some people still can’t register their 1-hour Guarantee items. Here are a few comments from some of our readers that might be able to help:

Clear your cookies using Google Chrome then close and restart. Worked for me.

I’m back and wanted to give everyone an update. I waited 20 minutes and attempted to register again. The website appears to be working now and accepting my TC receipt number. I would wait one hour and try again. If it continues to fail, I would return to the walmart store in which the purchases were made. Calling the walmart corporate or 1 hour guarantee department will not take you far.

I just went to customer service at my Walmart store, they tried everything to register the ticket and after 30 minutes they couldn’t, so they gave a rain check and asked me for a phone number to call me when the TV arrives at the store.. they don’t know how long would it take and told me that if the exact TV wasn’t available they would give the most similar TV available…

Hopefully that helps someone out there! If you’re still having problems or you resolved your Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee problem, let us know in the comments.

Another year, another problem with the Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee. While I love the idea of this system, I know it can be super frustrating for those of you who can’t register Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee receipts.

Last night, the Walmart website was most likely slammed with traffic, which could be the reason you couldn’t register your 1-Hour Guarantee receipt. However, most of the traffic should have died down, so you should be able to register your receipt today.

If you were having problems registering your 1-Hour Guarantee receipt last night and you’re STILL having problems today, though, I doubt it’s due to high traffic.

Here are a few of the common 1-Hour Guarantee problems I’m hearing about, and hopefully some advice for how to fix them…

My Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee receipt does not state “KEEP YOUR RECEIPT FOR 1 HOUR GUARANTEE PICKUP” and I didn’t pay for my 1-Hour Guarantee item at the register!

At the bottom of your receipt, you should see a phrase that says “KEEP YOUR RECEIPT FOR 1 HOUR GUARANTEE PICKUP”. If this is stated somewhere on your receipt, you should be able to register for your 1-Hour Guarantee item online at  Walmart.com/One-Hour-Guarantee. You’ll need to enter the TC number into the box on the website.

If your receipt doesn’t state “KEEP YOUR RECEIPT FOR 1 HOUR GUARANTEE PICKUP”, then you don’t have a Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee receipt. A couple things could have happened here.

First, you may not have actually paid for your 1-Hour Guarantee item at the register. Look at your receipt again and make sure you see that you paid for your item. One of the problems with 1-Hour Guarantee items that some customers are having is that they never actually paid for their item and got their 1-Hour Guarantee receipt. Either customers did not know they had to pay for their 1-Hour Guarantee at the store, or misinformed cashiers or employees directed them to take the packet itself home to register online.

Unfortunately, If you didn’t actually pay for your item, there’s a chance you may have lost it. Your best bet would be to contact your local store’s customer service department or the Walmart Corporate office.

My Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee receipt does not state “KEEP YOUR RECEIPT FOR 1 HOUR GUARANTEE PICKUP” and I did pay for my 1-Hour Guarantee item at the register!

If your receipt does not state “KEEP YOUR RECEIPT FOR 1 HOUR GUARANTEE PICKUP” at the bottom and your receipt clearly shows your purchase, however, you aren’t alone. Apparently, there were several misinformed Walmart cashiers across the country last night.

The 1-Hour Guarantee items required a special checkout process. Instead of ringing the items up as 1-Hour Guarantee items, though, cashiers rang them up as if customers already physically had the item. Your best bet in this situation would be to head back to the store where you made your purchase (with your receipt, of course!) and have a chat with the customer service department. They may be able to void the transaction and rering it up as a 1-Hour Guarantee purchase.

It says ‘TC number invalid’ on the Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee website!

If you’re sure you have a 1-Hour Guarantee receipt and you’re still getting an error when entering the TC number, look at it closely. Is there an extra digit that you missed way over to the right of the number? On some Walmart receipts, there will be an extra little digit over there all by its lonesome. make sure to include this digit when entering your TC number at Walmart.com/One-Hour-Guarantee.

Still having problems? Here are a few things you can try:

  • Use a different browser. (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc) One commenter on our previous post had luck with Internet Explorer, but was getting errors with Google Chrome.
  • Clear your browser cache.
  • Use a different computer.

If you’re still having problems, you can call 1-800-WALMART or email the Walmart customer service team Make sure you tick the bubble next to 1-Hour Guarantee.

I am NOT a Walmart employee, but I know how frustrating situations like this can be. Feel free to leave any questions or comments below about your experience, especially if you’ve been able to solve your own problems with the 1-Hour Guarantee registration process.
