Kmart is running a mail in rebate promotion this week:  Receive a FREE $10 Prepaid Mastercard when you purchase $25 of P&G products in 1 transaction at Kmart.  This is a rebate form that you can find in-store usually by the products that are included in the promotion.  I noticed this particular tearpad is only for your purchases at Kmart.  Here is a nice scenario that take advantage of Kmart Super Doubles and a high value coupon:

Deal Idea
Buy six Tampax Pearl $4.39 each
Use six $2/1 Tampax coupons from 3/7 P&G insert (five will double one will not)
Pay $4.34 plus tax out of pocket  (Thanks Saving Addiction!)

Yesterday was also my first trip to my new local Kmart and wouldn’t you know it, everyone was friendly and helpful. Plus the store was clean and organized. I am so lucky! because my old Kmart was like that too. Also, I was happy to notice a mom with her young son doubling coupons in front of me and then I later ran into her at Walgreens. It’s great to see other couponers working the deals, don’t you think? I am going to squeeze in a second trip to Kmart in a few days, right after I pick up my free Pantene at CVS. Big surprise this morning for all of us not to see Kmart super doubles advertised in the weekly Kmart circular. I hear your frustration about the lack of advertisement. At this point my only advice is to grab the phone and call your local store to confirm before heading to the store. Others are saying that coupons are doubling regardless as long as you have your Rewards Card scanned. For those of you that may get a “no, we are not doubling” from stores that were supposed to be doubling you may want to email corporate and get an written response you can bring with you to the store. Although I am sure lots of you are thinking too much hassle for five measly doubled coupons. Do what you are comfortable doing.

Kmart Super Doubles are just a few days away.  I know you have a lot of questions, and so did I until a few hours ago.  Lucky for us, one of my readers took the time to email Kmart and get the hard answers we all want about this event.  Here is the email she got back:

Dear CSWM Readers,

Thank you for your recent correspondence. We are always interested in hearing from our customers. We appreciate your interest in our double coupon event. This event is for select participating Kmart locations from 04-04-10 to 04-10-10.

1. You must have a Shop Your Way to Rewards card in order to have your coupons doubled.  To get your Shop Your Way to Rewards card, visit your local Kmart store or apply online at www.shopyourwayrewards.com.
2.  There is no minimum amount to spend.
3.  You can double a total of 5 coupons.  Customers may not double more than one of the same coupon.

Once again, thank you for your interest in our double coupon promotions.

For the Shop Your Way Rewards card, after you apply you get a provisional card that you can use while they mail you the “real” one.  You can also apply in stores.  I would suggest going with the provisional one on hand to save time.

So, considering that you can only double five coupons per day. I want to know, will you be doubling coupons at Kmart next week?
