carefree target deal Target: Free or Cheap Carefree and Stayfree Products

From now through 10/16 Target is running an unadvertised deal on Stayfree and Carefree products: Buy two and get a $5 Target gift card. The prices for some of these items start at $3.14. So even without coupons you can get a good deal. Here are some scenarios for you:

Buy two Carefree Ultra Protection 32 ct $3.14 each
Use two $1/1 Carefree Ultra Protection Product
Pay $4.28 plus tax out of pocket and get back one $5 Target Gift Card

Buy two Stayfree Ultra Protection 32 ct $5.29
Use B1G1 Stayfree Product up to $4.49 value 6/27/2010 RP Insert (exp 8/31/2010)
Use $1/1 Stayfree Brand Product
Pay $5.09 plus tax out of pocket and get back one $5 Gift Card

Since the Carefree is so cheap even without coupons you can get a good deal. Buy two and pay $6.28 and get back one $ $5 Target gift card. I like that the deal lasts for a while so hopefully there will be more Carefree and Stayfree coupons from now until then to make for better deals. If this deal is not tagged at your store make sure to scan some of the items at the price scanner. the gift card promotion should show up on the screen.

Thanks Totally Target for the deal and pic!

  1. Cool, I need to try some of these.

You probably want to act soon if you want to try this deal; I think they are on sale because the company is discontinuing that size package. You also shouldn’t necessarily expect it to go through fully. There was only one of the Carefree packages left at that price, so I had to substitute in a larger one (included in the promotion) for the second. That brought my subtotal to $9.10. (The 32-count was listed at $3.81, and the second package was a 92-count for $5.29.) They wouldn’t take my coupons because they were scanning in $0.00 and customer service said there was nothing they could do. It was still a good deal because of the gift card, but it was almost five dollars more than I was expecting to pay.

Worked great for me! They only had 3 left, though. I wish they had 4 left so I could have done the deal twice.

  4. Kristina L. says:

I tried this deal last night before my coupon expired and it would not take my coupon and the manager couldn’t get it to work either. :( Target’s coupon issues are driving me crazy.

Having trouble with the stayfree couon site. the link works, but it says I have already registered. (it would have been est 6 months ago. I guess that still counts, so I can’t get new ones) Also, I tried to help my daughter register, and it let her, but when pringing coupons, the coupons generated site, said I had already printed max. I got none. I wish they would re-set offers, if the give out new coupons!
