Target: Free Sheer Infusion Lotion, Gillette Deo + Seventh Generation, Greenworks and More

I had a chance to visit my local Target and let me tell it was a hoot!  Seriously,  at checkout I was pulling coupons from all sorts of pockets and even my phone.  I don’t think I have ever seen so many sources of coupons: inserts, printable, target inserts, target printable, target mobile.  In the end my bill went down by like 60% and that was mostly because I did the Bertolli Frozen meal deal.  Here are some deals that I was able to get and checkout for you:

Vaseline Sheer infusion lotion $4.79 (TPC through 5/29)
Use $3.75/1 Vaseline Sheer Infusion 4/11/2010 RP Insert (exp 5/9/2010) PLUS
Use $1/1 Vaseline lotion Target printable OR
Use $1.50/1 Vaseline lotion Target coupon from 4/25 RP insert
As low as free after coupon or 4 cents

As low as free after coupon  (Thanks Totally Target)

Tide Detergent 1 load in trial size section $0 .97
Use $1/1 Tide Detergent (Does not exclude Trial Size) 5-2-10 PG x5/31
Free after coupon  (Thanks Totally Target)

Right Guard Deodorant Travel Size $0 .97
Use $2/2 Right Guard Printable
Free after coupon  (Thanks Totally Target)

Plus I also saw that Target has 5lb bag of Market Pantry for only $1.04! That’s so cheap for flour! Finally remember that the use of coupon on trial size items will vary by store. And some of you are saying that stores are not willing to adjust down coupons even on full size items even when you bring Target’s Coupon Policy. I think a call to corporate customer services may be warranted in some of these cases.

What freebies and cheapies have you found at Target lately?

I think you have a typo at the end there. You’re using a Tide coupon on Right Guard?

I saw in the target ad this week that the kodak dvds are bogo. Does anyone know if they will honnor the BOGO printable coupon that was available(like cvs last week)? Not sure on their policy

my store is too strict with coupons.. theyll allow you to use mfqs with TQ but no overage qs or qs that need to be adjusted down. thats why im not ever going to try the adjusting q scenarios, as tempting as they look

Try taking a copy of the coupon policy with you. It specifically states that they can adjust a coupon. You can also go to customer service as well.

I went to Target last night in St. Charles, Missouri and tried using a coupon for $1 off any Dove deoderant. I was going to get the travel size that was 97 cents. They told me they could no longer adjust manufacturers coupons down to the price of the item. I whipped out Targets coupon policy that I printed several months ago that states they will lower the price to the retail price and was told by my cashier and a head cashier person, that their coupon policy apparently changed a couple weeks ago and they can no longer lower the price to that of the coupon. So, guess I’ll be researching this to see if Target has a new coupon policy. Oddly enough, I was able to get the travel size Tide that was 97 cents using the $1 off any Tide and also used the $4 off 2 Gillette items that were also on clearance for $1.57 each. They also said they can only adjust down Target coupons now. One more thing we’ll have to keep up with. Anyone seen a “NEW” Target coupon policy. Oddly enough as well, none of the cashiers could show me their new coupon policy….

I checked their website and there has been no updated coupon policy.

I don’t see the Target Vaseline lotion coupon. What zip code are you using please?

Talia, I also live in St. Charles. Went to the Mid Rivers location yesterday and they adjusted down the nivea body wash to $3.99. Target used to be awesome now I’ve been having issues there just in the last 2 weeks or so. I try to keep an eye out for the cashiers that I like and even wait longer for them b/c I know they are nice to couponers.

I did call customer service with a problem a while back, and they told me that if there is ever a problem in the store that you can use the red phone at the customer service desk to contact them, and they will do with it right away. I haven’t had to do that, though. The Target that I shop at is very nice.

I had a problem a couple of weeks ago and I asked them to adjust the coupon down, but neither the cashier or manager person could figure out how to do it so they just gave me the overage. Then last week, same problem, but when the cashier called the manager over the manager asked, “did the system take the coupon?” the cashier said yes and the manager told her to just leave it them.
