Awesome! Any idea when this sale ends? And the rebte forms… my toysrus said they were out, any idea where i can get one?

  2. erika says:

Forgot to add that these are also great to give out as prizes for games during your childs birthday party.
Also the orginal Trouble seems to be priced at $10.99 (website price) but would qualify you for the $3 hasbro rebate

  3. erika says:

does anyone know if i need to have the flyer to get the $10 gift card??

  4. couponingqueen says:

I was wondering the same thing. Is the flyer available in stores? I don’t do a lot of ToysRUs shopping as the closest one is 30 minutes away.

  5. couponingqueen says:

That’s like getting 8 Games for $10 just $1.25 each.

  6. Peggy says:

Looking at the ad, I don’t think you need the flyer to get the $10 gift card as it isn’t a coupon (there is however a coupon to get a $10 gift card if you spend $75 on any purchase so you would need the flyer for that deal). However, it notes on the ad that the gift card for the game deal is ‘while supplies last’.

  7. Rebekah says:

You also get a chocolate Monopoly or Scrabble (I think?) FREE with any Trouble (and about 7 others) game purchase…while supplies last. But it’s a $9.99 value too!!

    • Sarah B says:

There was a space for them with the candy at my store, but they were out of stock at my store last time I checked.

Look in the candy though, not at the board games :)

  8. Mary says:

So do you think you can get the $10 GC for the Hasbro offer and the $10 CG for $75 purchase in the same transaction?

  9. Renee says:

I’m wondering about Rebekah’s deal idea, too. Or was that just last week?

  10. Also, I just saw in the ad that you can earn 10% back (in form of a rewards certificate) when you use your Rus Rewards card. I am working on a major run! Hoping to post sweet success tomorrow!

  11. Peggy says:

The free chocolate Monopoly or Scrabble with select games will work – I got one free…along with the $10 gift card (it was the last one at the store though…I found it right near the games in a special display rather than the candy area).

  12. Jenna says:

I went in today to purchase some games. I purchased
    Candy Land
    Chutes and Latters
    Memory
    Elefun
    total sale price $23.99
and the register prompted a $10 gift card. SSSoooo… that means it’s the original prices that make the difference! YEAH!
    It’s like 13.99 + rebates of $10!
I wanted all those games, but if you just got the first 3 plus cooties (or another $5 game with original price of $9.99) the original prices total $37.96
    So it’s be $16 oop – $10 gc – 8 rebate = $2 MM!!!

    • Kayla says:

I just tried the last senerio at my TRU/BRU and it did not prompt the $10 hasbro GC. I confirmed with them that they still had some and the offer did not run out.

  13. ShelleyB says:

I encourage people to think about donating some of these gifts to Toys for Tots or other adopt-a-child programs going on this holiday season. It’s a good deal for you and a big ol’ smile on their face!

  14. Kelly says:

The $10 gift card being prompted on the REGULAR price of the games is dead. It will now only prompt if you spend $35 based on SALE prices. Just FYI for anyone still looking to do this deal!

  15. Rei says:

heads up, the game deal was a mess today. I spend $36 + tax but didn’t get the gc. The manager came over and said the Hasbro gift card deal was over?! He gave me an immediate $10 off anyway since it was advertised in the ad. Unfortunately he deducted the $10 on the reg price of a game and not the sale price, soooo had to go to the CS desk to get the rest credited…sigh…looking back at the receipt, they didn’t credit me back properly so lost $3…what a headache :(

  16. Tara says:

No more gift cards what a nightmare experience.

  17. BB says:

I think it’s horrible that TRU pulled out like this. False advertising, in my opinion.
