Yesterday I saw $.50 off manufacturer coupon right on the shelf in store where they put the Halls. It is specifically for one bag of Halls Refresh! I grabbed one and that saved me extra $.50 right away :)

  2. Rachel says:

wait, wouldnt the zantak be $5.00 in overage with the coupon? maybe im missing something.

  3. Laura says:

Those are some expensive olives…. ;-)

  4. Kristina L. says:

I saw in my Walgreens ad that Sure Deodorant is on sale with ad @ 2/$3.00 and there is a 1.50 off mens deodorant and a 1.00 off all the others in the 10/18 SS makes it FREE. In the ad the mens deodorant is pictured too.

  5. Kristina L. says:

Also there is a 1.00 off Tylenol 8oz in the Healthy Savings booklet.

  6. Divya says:

    Hi,

    I am a newbie to the couponing.And I have a dumb doubt.

If I buy Zantac after IP pay 3.99 and earn 8.99

Can I buy Sheer Infusion for $5.99 after IP and still earn $6.99?

Will it print RR if I used RR to buy it?

and will I have $3 RR from Zantac ($8.99-$5.99) left with me along with the Sheer infusion’s $6.99 RR?

So $3.99 OOP and $9.99 in RR after the above two transactions?possible?pls advice

  7. Drew says:

The Snickers “Fun Size” (11.18 ounce) candy bars will be 2 for $4. I know this because I was in yesterday and they were marked with a Walgreens “as advertised” tag. But someone jumped the gun because the tag gave 10/18-10/24 as the sale dates.

    Heads up! :-)

  8. Kristina L. says:

Divya when you use a RR you have to use it all at one time. So if you spend 5.99 on the Sheer Infusion you will have to buy something that is 3.00 to use the 8.99 RR. And yes you will get another RR for the lotion. You can use RRs to buy any item just not on the item that you got the RR from.

  9. There is also another medicine freebie with Benefiber and Gas-X. Check it out at http://thecouponhigh.blogspot.com/2009/10/walgreens-deals-starting-1018.html as well as some other deals.

  10. Angie says:

On the tylenol deal, there is a $1 q in the walgreens healthy saving booklet,so with the IP q,shouldn’t it be free?

  11. Divya says:

Thanks a bunch for your detailed answer! I have a similar doubt – is it the same with cvs? can you use a part of your ECB to pay for an item? Will they give you the balance ECB back to you?

  12. Kristina L. says:

Divya they are the same you will not get change for your ECB but you can use them on anything even the same thing that you got them from.

  13. Sara says:

I went to sign up for the Zantac coupon and it says the coupon is no longer available :-(

  14. jen says:

me too sara, bummer about the zantac!

  15. jen says:

I know Mercedes, we should have listened! haha, i did print theraflu when you told me too! Thanks for all your help

  16. Kristina L. says:

Hey if anyone checks out the Benefiber deal it won’t work. You have to buy the orange kind and it’s not part of the sale so the 5.00 off won’t work.

  17. Lisa says:

I am an experienced Walgreens shopper now (started back in March) but lately, the register has not been taking all of my RR’s. The cashiers cannot even manually enter the RR. Here is what is happening. I carefully count out my items and make sure that I have the same number of items as I have coupons and RR’s. That used to work for me. Now it seems like I have to have one more item than coupons/RR. IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM? Also, do you think it has something to do with in-ad coupons being applied to more than one item thus counting for more than one coupon (JUST GUESSING HERE)?

Thanks in advanced for the input!

  18. Wende says:

    Lisa,

I was having a similar problem, but someone told me to use the WAGS coupons LAST after all others and they will not “count against you” I did 6 small transactions today at Walgreens like that and everyone one of the WAGS from the Walgreens paper was fine and did not count against my numbers of items/per coupons BUT I had to hand them VERY last.

  19. Lisa says:

    Wende,
Dumb question here but… do you hand them the in-ad coupons after your RR’s???

  20. Divya says:

    THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I MADE 8 TRANSACTIONS AND BOUGHT STUFF WORTH $57.87 FOR $7.12 AND GOT BACK $11.00 AS RR

    THIS IS SWEET!!

HOWEVER THE VASELINE DIDNT WORK FOR ME AS THEY TOLD ALL THE STORES IN PHOENIX DO NOT PRINT OUT AN RR AND THEY SHOWED ME A REBATE PRINTOUT WHICH I HAD TO MAIL TO GET MY RR BY MAIL. I DID NOT WANT TO GO THROUGH THAT AS I WANTED TO CARRY MY RR BACK HOME!!

BUT I AM HAPPY BY MY FIRST TRANSACTION WITH WALGREENS GOING SUCCESSFUL!

    THANKS

  21. Natasha says:

I posted on my site that there was free Benefiber and Gas-X. I was wrong and I apologize for any confusion I caused.

Benefiber 58 dose is on sale for $10 but is not part of the RR deal. Use the $2.00 Benefiber printable and the $5.00 Benefiber coupon in October Booklet to get the 58 dose for $3.00 each this week.

    Here is a great deal that’ll get you 2 Mylanta, 1 Tums, and 4 Gas-X for $5.00.

    Buy 2 Mylanta $8
    Buy 1 Tums $4
    Buy 4 Gas-X $20

Use $4/2 Mylanta coupon found in 10/4 SS insert
    Use $1.00 any Tums printable
Use $2.00 Gas-X coupon in October Booklet
    Use four $1.00 Gas-X printable

    Pay $15.00, earn $10.00 RR

  22. Lisa says:

    Wende,
Today I made a Wags purchase. I handed all my manu coupons and RR’s first THEN the Wags coupons. It worked! I actually had 4 Wags coupons over the total of my items!!! Yippee! I feel free!

However, one of the Wags coupons didn’t want to “take”. The Assistant Manager told me they are having trouble with the coupons from the Healthy Savings Book. For me, it was the Ricola coupon ($.50 off). He knew what to do and I got a bag full of useful items (Starbucks, olives, cough drops, etc.) for $.56 out of pocket and also earned $9 in RR. I was delighted.

    Thanks for the help!

  23. amy says:

Just curious. I have a $5 catalina for enfamil, and there is a $3 off walgreens coupon in this week’s ad. So, which do I give the cashier first? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  24. Leslie says:

This is interesting what you all are saying about the order of what to give your cashiers. My store always seems to want my RR’s last. Can they really dictate it for me? Maybe it’s my fault for laying it all out there at the same time. :-)

  25. Lisa says:

    Leslie,
I always used to give my RR last using them like “money” to pay for my purchase. However, I was having trouble with the registers accepting my last RR (even when I carefully counted the amount of items and the amount of coupons and RR). I think what was happening was that somehow the WAGS in-ad coupons were counting more than once. So, yesterday I have the cashier my manufacturers coupons first then RR then before paying the rest (all of $.56) in cash, I handed over my WAGS in-ad coupons. This seemed to work just fine. Try it and see what happens.

  26. Jun says:

I do not think it is a good idea to give out Manufacturer Q’s first, and then do the in-ad-coupon/IVC for a specific item this week. For example, Starbucks Frapuccino, cost here locally 1.99, so if you give the MQ’s, so it will bring down the cost to .99, and when you use the in-ad-Q, then it most probably will not adjust the price, because the price is already lower than the advertised price of 1.29/bottle. Does that make sense, or I am just making this up on my mind?

    • Mercedes says:

      Hi Jun,

The in-ad coupon will always adjust the price down based on the original price not the after coupon price. That is the case for all walgreens coupons. I have been shopping at Walgreens and can tell you that your best bet is always to hand the manufacturer coupon first.

      Mercedes

  27. JEN says:

hey y’all the air wick i-motion (small ones) are half off to make them 3.99 and you can use a $4 off a starter Q to make them free free free!!

  28. Jun says:

So, if you have 1$ manufactures coupon, use it for the $1.99 regular price, and then have the clerk do the in-ad-coupon after that? From 1.99, goes down to .99, and with the in-ad-coupon, this will adjust to becoming free? That’s even better with some other sites scenario of paying .29 after in-ad-Q and Manufacture Q. Would you say this is a better scenario? Have you tried this, or anyone else?

  29. Joy says:

I think the Zantac Q was reset…I was just able to print it (although from a different computer). I saw where others couldn’t print it even once, so I’m thinking it was reset.

  30. bif says:

If RR doesn’t print for Vaseline $7 RR, what # do I call Catalina to get them to mail me the $7?

  31. Leslie says:

Oh the beeps on the RR’s always make me frustrated. Here was my scenario: 2 Children’s Triaminic at $4.99 each, 1 Theraflu at $4.99 = $14.97 subtotal. Handed cashier $3.00/2 MF q for Triaminic and $2/1 q for Theraflu (so total of 2 coupons for 3 items); then gave my $8 RR from a previous purchase . . . BEEP. He said the message was “exceeds purchase price” . . . that didn’t make any sense since if I do the math, it would clearly be leaving me $1.97 subtotal to pay (plus tax). So his solve was for me to grab one more item (filler), I grabbed a piece of 39 cent candy. BEEP again. But this time he pushed an “override” button I guess and it went through. This just didn’t make sense to me. I just feel like something changed. I’ve been doing Wags for a year now without a problem. Coupons = items in my transaction, and amount due was over the coupon amount. I just didn’t get it, but I bought a piece of candy anyway, LOL

  32. Deborah says:

Zantac coupon is reset–if you didn’t print yet, you can print now. I am not sure if the theraflu has reached its print limit or if I already printed on this computer. Anyone know?
