Walgreens: Cheap Infant and Childrens Advil

  1. Yvonne says:

I have NEVER seen the Infant Care booklet at my Walgreens. When I asked around about it, the store personnel had no clue what I was talking about. Do you know how to get these booklet deals when the store doesn’t carry it?

  2. Janice says:

My Walgreens wouldn’t take the Advil printable. They said the register was saying no matching product found :( . They did put the code in for me though (5520)

    • Megan says:

They can manually put the coupon in the system, that’s what they did for me

      • Janice says:

I think the CSR was just a couponer hater. She also was only going to let me use one coupon because it says “limit one coupon per purchase”. I will try a different store. I also noticed on the first page where you click to get the coupon that is SAYS that it is good for Childrens Advil. I will take that too!! I WILL WIN!! lol!

  3. Mary says:

Yes code is 5520. I have never seen the books either. I am going to try it, but just in case they say no, you can try calling 1800walgreens an hopefully CS will back you up.

  4. Crystal says:

MIne were 5.99 reg price and only took off $2 for the coupon because I was only paying $4 each after wag coupon. This is how the manager explained it, is this a new policy? I always thought the sale price was first then coupons came off that?

    • Sheri says:

I just had the same happen to me. Reg price at my Wags is $6.99 for Childrens Advil. The register only took off $2.50 for the BOGO 50% off deal. When I asked why, the manager told me that the Wags coupons are used towards the reg price, THEN the 50% is taken off. Even the cashier thought it was a load of crap but I guess it was only 99cents more than I planned on spending. Still a great deal, but I have never had this happen before so I am wondering if it is a new policy also?

  5. Erin M says:

I rarely go to walgreens because everytime I go I am frustrated with lack of product and difficulty with coupons and this time was no different. Well I went to Walgreens today for this deal and the wipes that was posted last week (with my raincheck becuase they were out of them at the time) and they gave me the run around with my coupons telling me I couldn’t use a manufacturer coupon and the walgreens coupon because the walgreens ones are really manufacturer ones even if they aren’t sent in. The manager did punch them in but it was very frustrating to have to argue to get my coupons taken off. Anyone else have this issue. I too only got $2 off for the infant advil priced @ 5.99 for 1.
