Walgreens Midweek Ad + Jingle Cash Scenarios

wag logo1 Walgreens Midweek Ad + Jingle Cash Scenarios

This is one more week that Walgreens is releasing a mid-week ad. This ad has additional offers running from 12/8-12/11. The other weekly deals are still available as well. There really aren’t any earth shattering deals to be added. But I did want to share with you some scenarios. The Jingle Cash promotion running this week is making for some good money savers.

Deal idea 1

Buy two boxes of Russell Stover chocolate $8.99 each
Buy one $9.99 toy

Use $4/1 in ad Toy coupon
Use buy one get one free in ad Russell Stover coupon
Pay $14.98 plus tax out of pocket and get back $5 in Jingle Cash

Deal idea 2

Buy 6 packs of Walgreens brand diapers (on sale buy one get one free or 2/$8.99)
Pay $26.97 plus tax out of pocket  and get back $10 in Jingle Cash
It looks like the free diapers were counting toward the Jingle cash requirements making the total $50.
That’s like paying $2.82 a pack  (Thanks My Frugal Adventures)

Deal idea 3

Buy 3 Scotch Precision Cut Scissors, $8.25 ($7.99 at some stores)
Buy 1 Small Filler, $0.12 (one Holiday Pen or tumbler)
Use 3  $1/1 Scotch Scissors Printable Coupons
Use the In Ad Coupon to bring price of scissors down to $2.99 each
Pay $6.xx out of pocket and get $5 in Super Jingle Cash
That’s like paying $0.33 each for the Scissors (Thanks Passion for Savings)

I have some register rewards expiring on Saturday so I will get to my store that day.  I think I will get some Walgreens Brand diapers.  I have used them before and have been pleased with them.  Let me know what deals you plan on getting at Walgreens this week.
