My local Walmart would not accept the $1 Q for the sponges because they were not over $1. A “manager” also tried to tell me that they only accept 1 internet coupon per transaction for a like item. Meaning I would only be able to get 1 sponge not the 2 I had planned. Always travel with the store policy. Hope someone else has better luck then I did!

My Walmart would not take the coupon either. She told me that the sponge was not even a dollar, I explained she needed to adjust it. Then she said the picture says heavy duty and told me there is nothing she can do about it.

I just wanted to add that I got a 10.00 & 6.00 off Prevacid 24 hour coupon which would make it only .89 (.49 each in Dallas). Did anyone else get them as well???

  • Anna

I logged on to complain about my local Walmart, but it looks like I had better luck than most. My store took the coupon but adjusted it down to $.84. It helped that I told them the coupon was off the Scotch Brite website. Good luck to all! 🙂

Anybody ever had trouble with Wal-Mart not accepting black and white internet coupons? I was told that if the coupon was not printed in color, they wouldn’t accept it. The cashier insisted that because it was black and white, I Xeroxed (which I did not!!). I just printed in black and white to save money, though. Lesson learned.

My Walmart let me get two of the sponges. The printed coupon would not scan and kept beeping at the register. I was thinking oh great, here we go. He just keyed in the coupon and it took it. Did this happen to anyone else. Actually, in looking at my receipt it looks like he typed in 1.00 vendor coupon. no scan bar code. Must be something with the coupon itself. Anyway, I have to say I got lucky on this one.

    • Kristina L.

Yeah same thing happened to me he justed typed in 1.00 vendor coupon. It was my fav checker I don’t think that they usually do that at least not for me.

Kim I am not sure why the coupon wouldn’t scan, sometimes my printer gets a mind of its own and prints my Q’s in “draft quality”, these Q’s will not scan for some reason. I guess maybe the bar code isn’t “crisp” or clear enough for the register to read it? But usually when the register beeps after the coupon is scanned its because the value of the Q is higher than the products price (overage)- the register then says “$X.XX- valid coupon amount?” at which point most cashiers look at the coupon, look back at the register (like “duh” lol) and then hit enter (or whatever). so there is your overage. I also know that my local wal-mart will not key in internet Q’s (too much fraud) if it doesn’t scan they won’t accept it so you guys have awesome cashiers! A couple Q’s that will give you overages (little ones but hey it something!)- is $3 off one Tucks product printable, use it on the take-a-longs (they are 2.74 (UPC 031254715042H)

and the $3/1 Schick Disposable razor Q from the 3/21 SS will give you a $1.03 overage when you buy the $1.97 Schick disposable (10 pack w/ 2 bonus razors) (UPC 084105800123)

I just did these two last night! awesome those overages ($1.55) ALMOST paid for my may ALL YOU! wow i love coupons!

also the $5/2 Benadryl from a couple weeks ago can be used for the Benadryl Itch Sticks for a .50 cent overage. (sorry don’t have that receipt handy to get the UPC)

The coupon link for the sponges is bringing up a .pdf for me that shows $1/2

  • The $1/1 Scotch-Brite coupon has changed to $1/2… does anyone know where I can find the original $1/1 coupon?

    • Laura, unless you saved it in your computer, the link and coupon are no longer available 🙁

  • Martha

I printed the Scotch scrubbing pads coupon the first time around, and also got $1/2… thought it was just my location I am in … hmmm.

  • Martha

Also, There are times I’m linked to a coupon site for something (in this case, TGIF Potato Skins and the Sara Lee lunchmeat) and it’s not anywhere on the list. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need a different zip code?

    • Martha,

That’s because most coupons are only available temporarily.
