Regular Walmart shoppers know that Walmart doesn’t issue weekly sales circulars. However, now Walmart will be offering online weekly ads on Walmart.com during the intervening weeks. In addition to that, for the first time in a weekly ad, all items will be available for online purchase in these circulars that come between the Sunday ones. And most will be available for free Site to Store shipping as well.
Another thing, last fall I shared with you that Walmart had started a pilot program called Pick Up Today. You could buy the item online and it would be available for pick up at your local store within ours. That was a beta test back in the fall but the program is being expanded and Walmart expects to have around 3,600 stores offering the service by June of this year.
