Wouldn’t it be cheaper to use 3 target coupons for the huggies wipes? Why only 2?

    • Maria S.

I thought the same thing too, but now that I looked at it again, maybe she only put a scenario for 2 Target coupons because they can usually only be printed twice per computer and not everyone has access to more than one.

      • Maria S.

Could be a stretch no matter what if the Target coupon indicates one identical Target coupon per transaction, then it would depend if someone’s “feeling lucky”, lol.

The land o lakes coupon that printed was 50c off of 2, not 1 🙁

    • Tina

jenna – there are two land o lakes coupons. the one you want is farther down the list.

  • Pat

Hi! Thanks for all the great coupon advice! Question: What does it mean when you say “rolling”? (Like on the Land o Lakes and Neutra Air deals above) Thanks!

    • Hi Pat,
That means the expiration date of the coupon changes depending on when you print the coupon. The coupon doesn’t have a set expiration date.

    Great to know! Thanks!

Just and FYI, when I did the wipes deal last week at Target and used the $2.50/3 Q, they adjusted it down to $2.39 (the price of one tub). I thought that was a little shady since it was a coupon for $$ off of 3 tubs, not 1. But they did allow me to use (3) .75/1 Target Qs so I guess I can’t complain too much! I don’t see the Target wipes Q on there any more, is it just me?

    • Jaime

Cara, you missed all of the fun a couple of weeks ago in Mercedes’ post: http://www.commonsensewithmoney.com/2010/08/target-accused-of-ripping-people-off/
You’ll get from the comments that what Target has been doing is only giving you the value of one item (i.e. the $2.39) instead of the full value of the coupon. And apparently, some people are now having problems with them, since they are stating that they will only take 1 identical Target coupon per transaction.

Same thing happened to me last week, and I saw that lovely article. It made me SOOOO mad! They dropped the price this week, so I went in yesterday with my receipt and tried to get the price adjustment. Because the idiots didn’t ring the 2.50 off 3 tubs right-They would only give me price adjustment on 4 and not 6 (as it looked like 2 were already free) I’m working on a nice letter as that is twice in a week I lost money. Just think of how many people they are doing this to! It adds up over time!

      • Michelle

I hear ya they did the same thing to me with different products.

  • Stephanie

This Huggies coupon was perfect timing for me! My Pick N Save had huggies wipes on clearance for $1.50, so I got 6 packs for $4! Much easier than dealing with Target and their inconsistent couponage (yes, I made that word up! 🙂 ) Thanks Mercedes! You’re the best!

  • Jackie

What zip code did you use for the Huggies wipes? The 2.50 off three one

  • Pat

    I used 38654 and got one a $2.50 off 3 Huggies coupon.

    • Jackie

      Got it!! Thanks!!

For the GE deal to work doesn’t it require two Target coupons?

  • Loraleigh Anderson

I got the wipes today and wasn’t paying close enough attention – the $2.50 coupon only rang up as $1.99. If you’re going to do this make sure you watch and get the cashier to correct the coupon. This “adjusting the coupon” thing has stung me several times already. I hope enough of us complain so that they will change things.

  • Amy

    Wow,
Clearly, my wipes coupon adjust thing is store policy now, not just an isolated incident.
That does it. I am boycotting Target. It’s just not worth it to me. More power to you if you continue on with this store that is making beaucoup bucks off the backs of couponers like us!

  • Letha Crawford

i think i’m done with Target too ! they frustrate me so bad ! i got the three wipes at 1.99 each and they did let me use 2 Target coupons but i was mad when i got home and realized that the manufacturer coupon only took off 1.99 instead of 2.50 ! they make me so mad !!!

    • Jo

I had the same problem happen to me. But b/c they let me use 3 target coupons (.75) off . I couldn’t bother to argue. The link shows issues w/ the cash registers at target for the same situation.

  • allthingslittle

How do you get 3 Target coupons to print? I was able to print 2 but says maximum number printed now.

    • Amy

      Use two computers.

  • Diane

My Target rocks. I was able to use a $2,50 off three coupon, a $2.00 of two coupon, and a $.75 off one coupon, along with two $.75 target coupons, letting me get three tubs of wipes for $.39! What a deal!

  • Amy

    Diane,
I would say your “cashier” rocked. Hopefully, no hidden cams, that person would likely get fired. Definitely not common Target practice, as you can clearly see from the rest of the posts here. Good for you though!
